This is one of my go-to places in The Springs for outdoor yard art. Love all the solar/battery powered combo choices. And, one of the few places I can find large metal yard art with moving parts, charming when the wind blows. Yes, there are a lot of touristy things I would not purchase, but hey I’m not a tourist. I live here — lucky me! :) Plus, the staff are always friendly and helpful. And, of course, after a fun time shopping, can always find some good food or entertainment nearby. All-in-all, just a nice place to visit and pick up another great looking piece for my garden collection. Even saw the cutest sign there I would love to put out on the deck… so you know what that means… another shopping trip to Mushroom Monday soon!

I can agree with Tiffany N. on this place. Touristy items exist here, pottery, magnets, wind chimes, and other like items for the out of towners or kitschy sense. I enjoyed looking around and taking in all the items out there these days. Not a lot I would consider buying as of today anyway.

I’m guessing the name of this place is a drug reference from the 60’s or 70’s. I asked the lady working there and she seemed a little off put that I asked her what the origin of the name was. But cmon, with a name like Mushroom Monday, how can you expect people NOT to ask about it, surely I couldn’t have been the first. Anywho, it’s a nice souvenir shop full of wind chimes, rocks, magnets and other things that a tourist like me could love. But still, would love to know what the name is all about.
