My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay over the weekend. All of the staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Loved reading and relaxing by the fireplace(there are two in the main area) and breakfast in the morning was delicious. We stayed in the Fleur de Lis room. It was very comfortable and we had an electric stove and jetted tub — awesome! It was the perfect romantic getaway nestled in the mountains. There’s also a lot of neat history not only at the Inn, but within the entire area. Makes for a great weekend(or longer) trip to relax and do some exploring.

Loved this place! The owners and staff were very kind and accommodating. Breakfast every morning was delicious! My wife and I came here on our honeymoon and had a great time! My only complaint is that our room had no refrigerator so we had to go buy a cooler and fill it with ice to keep our left overs cold. Also, we could t get wifi in our room but they had it in the common area So in summary: Pros: Friendly staff Delicious breakfast Nice and quite rooms Hot tub! Cons: No fridge in our room.(L’Abri) Couldn’t get wifi

Historical, charming, and quite – just what the doctor ordered. It’s easy to imagine myself in the early 1900’s with it’s throwback décor.

This place is really gorgeous, and I much preferred staying in Manitou versus Colorado Springs. A couple of big negatives though: the add-on packages(day trips, spa package, cheese plate) were a huge ripoff. The spa package consisted of not much more than a loofah. In retrospect, I guess I should have known this, but I was über-excited about planning for my honeymoon, so I guess I was too trusting. There was no fridge in the room, and for a four diamond establishment the tile work was atrocious. We stayed in the spindletop, the nicest room in the joint, and I had a miserable allergy problem. I’m allergic to dust mites, so I think this is a big problem for someplace so expensive. Overall it was quiet, convenient, with beautiful views and a very friendly and accommodating staff, but probably a little too big for it’s britches.

I stayed here for my sister’s wedding(Early March 2008). The accommodations are fancy; our bathroom had a heated floor and a huge jacuzzi tub! However there was no closet or bureau. Construction was being completed the day we arrived, but worked out okay. The owner’s daughter has a bit of an attitude, but her father is the classic gentlemen. The chef prepares ambitious breakfast fare, might be too eclectic for the B&B crowd, but I enjoyed eating snap dragons!
