Between the Bridges Healing Center

I used to go to Dr. Jeff, and he definitely helped with my back pain. However, when the Affordable Care Act passed, Between the Bridges sent me a notice saying they would no longer accept any insurance as a result. It had been over $ 200 per appointment WITH insurance, I sure couldn’t afford to go without insurance. For me, that knocks off 1 — 1.5 stars. I understand that things might have gotten more complicated, but this office essentially said if you can’t pay cash, we don’t want you as a patient — I didn’t have the cash as a grad student, so no too happy.
I’ve since moved to the Chicago area, and have been calling for several days in an attempt to get my records from their practice. I’ve called during office hours, been shifted to a voicemail each time, and have yet to receive a call back. Very unprofessional, and –1 star.
