Was super hungry one day, didn’t have alot of time and was one of the first in line for lunch one weekday at Leeann Chin, located in the Food Court of River Hills mall in Mankato. Had heard by word of mouth some good things about this place and was happy to give it a try.
Too bad it didn’t work out so good for me…
Cashew chicken was lacking in taste and quite honestly at this time of day should have been super fresh and just cooked. I hope I’m not right but it tasted like it was made the day before and warmed up. Fried rice was dry and crispy like it had sat in the warmer for several hours but it was like 11 o’clock — what’s up with that???
Very poor quality food. Do not plan to return.
Why not only one star then? Well, I really don’t like to give one star but will when its truly deserved — the restaurant is very nice looking, clean, friendly and inviting and the staff were also very kind and service was quick. That however does NOT make up for the terrible food. Sorry, cannot recommend this place.
