They have remodeled the whole bar! It is super nice inside. Great bar to listen to live music and the food is so good. The patio is a great place to hang out with friends.

I’m not with it regarding the Mankato bar scene but this was a fun little dive bar with a stage. We came down from the Cities to check out a band and there was plenty of space to hang out on the floor and the music didn’t overwhelm the joint. I enjoyed shooting some pool and the drinks were cheap, the folks friendly. Midtown is nothing super special but the area of town around it seemed dead so this was a lively oasis in an otherwise seemingly slumbering city on a Friday night. Hey they have booze, music and pool… what else you want? By the way, the main entrance is in the back, evidently.

Not great, it’s not packed which I like. But when I went it was dead and I put music into the jukebox and bought full price songs which were skipped. Friday night boredom and they want it that way.

There are dives … and there are dives. This is the latter. Nothing really appealing about it. Has a bit of odor that doesn’t seem entirely healthy. Personally, I wouldn’t get anything that was not deep fat fried or in a sealed bottle.

It’s a good place to have a group– their private room is free for rental, and they don’t mind if you’re not eating and instead just having drinks. Their dance floor and stage area is nice, so when they have entertainment, that can be really fun. The staff are all really great.
