Sam’s Club

Great place to shop! Always save money here! One night as I was leaving the store and they gave me free blueberries! I rated a 4 because I wish they sold more hair products & a lot of the time I can’t find any good fruit worth buying. Although the red grapes have been awesome!

It’s a typical Sam’s club. Not that great, not that bad; you should know what to expect when you come here. However, if you’re broke and looking to get your alcohol fix, shop at the liquor store here! Seriously! The prices are cheaper and there is usually not that many people unless you come right before close on a weekend.

The local store isn’t actively terrible, but is certainly not great. As a former Costco member I was underwhelmed by most of the items in stock and their prices, and was entirely disappointed by the pathetic selection in the liquor department.
Beyond that, I have to warn anyone in the Mankato area away from purchasing items to be shipped from
. We initially joined Sam’s Club so we could purchase a living room set from their website using gift cards and money received as wedding presents. We received a shipping confirmation which stated a date well past what was promised on the website, and things got worse from there.
Nearly a week after the promised delivery date we called Sam’s Club customer service to discover that they don’t sell the furniture directly, but rather act as a front for a vendor, and that the furniture vendor released our shipment to a freight company who isn’t actually permitted to deliver in Minnesota. Our furniture had apparently been sitting in a warehouse for weeks and likely would have remained there if we hadn’t reached out.
Sam’s Club was unwilling to take any responsibility for this supply chain failure, instead passing the buck to the vendor who wasn’t able to get us the furniture any faster than a snail’s pace and wasn’t willing to refund any more than a paltry percentage of the purchase price.
We have instead decided to cancel both the purchase and our Sam’s Club membership for a full refund, and will gladly make the drive up to Costco in the cities if we need to do any more wholesale shopping.
I’d suggest you do the same.
