very sad that this is closed. I don’t want to have to go all the way to austin to get good pizza.

Best pizza in Manor, TX. Sadly, Papa Geno’s Pizza closed 9÷8÷2011.

Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! Unfortunately the price is a bit high, but that doesn’t prevent me from being a frequent customer.

I have tried, what feels like, every pizza joint in Austin… Austin’s Pizza, East Side Pies, Mangias, etc, and although they all have excellent pizza, I have to say that Papa Geno’s is by far THEBEST pizza I may have ever had. Flavorful, a well balance of sauce and cheese, a crust that balances a good amount of bread and great toppings. And do I have to even start on the Texas Large?! It is HUGE! We order a mix of meat and vegetables and are pleased by the freshness of the veggies and flavor of the meats. Since this pizza spot is in the city of Manor, it’s a little out of the city, but may be well worth the drive for some excellent pizza, trust me, you won’t be dissapointed!!! Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

I live in NE Austin and there is not a single pizza place that delivers to my house. Frankly, I find that appalling, but that’s another topic… When I want pizza, I have to drive for it. Which, now that I think about it, is probably a good thing for my waist line since I’m too lazy to go get pizza generally. But that’s another topic! Now, to the topic at hand– Papa Geno’s in Manor. I wanted to get pizza from a local place, not a chain, so I Unilocal mapped my area and found Papa Geno’s is just as close as the places a little south of me in Austin. Ordered a Texas size pepperoni. The box was so big, I wasn’t sure I’d be able to fit it in my car! 20″ of cheesy, pepperoniy, goodness! Loved it! Knocked off one star because I don’t like the edge of the crust all that much compared to other pizzas I’ve had. But the rest is really good. And the guys at the counter and in the kitchen are always really nice. It’s my go-to pizza place when I have a hankering for pizza and can pry my lazy butt up off the couch to go get it.

Good pizza and good people. I wasn’t overly impressed with anything else I’ve tried so I stick with the kona and italian pizzas. Much better than Domino’s, so I hope they don’t get pushed out.

Papa Geno’s now has my business. The first time I went in to Papa Geno’s about 1 ½ years ago, I didn’t care for it too much. People were ok, not much to write home about. HOWEVER, when I went back about 8 months ago, there was a sign on the door about karaōke night on Saturdays(family friendly). So we took our large family of 8 to check it out. Lo and behold we had fun and the pizza was really good and wings. We also tried it for UT games. Big Screen, wings, and BYOB. what’s not to love. But for me to give up my hard earned money, there has to be something to make me wanna come back… Now, you will find our large family & friends every Saturday night for karaōke, sometimes earlier for parties, Sunday Football games and the occasional NBA game. Tony and his staff make it a CONSISTENT pleasure to spend my dead presidents on good pizza with consistent non fake customer service. They are totally genuine and so fun to hang out with, I will NOT spend my saturdays or other sports days anywhere else… even over family events… If you ask me, this is a hidden gem… Try it once, especially on saturdays 7 – 11 and you WILL be back. I promise… oh yeah and they never close… open year round even on Christmas/New Year’s etc. check it out, you won’t be disappointed. We will be the people clapping in the front row and singing karaōke. and no we don’t work for them. :)

Papa Geno’s Pizza isn’t your everyday Pizzeria. They now offer fine dining throughout the year. We attended last nights event ‘Cupid’s Creations’ and the food was fabulous. Prime Rib, lobster tail, potatoes, green beans, salad, bread and a special baked heart desert. we had our choice of 8 oz, 12 and I believe a 16 oz. These special meals are reservation only and you can find out about them on Facebook. They don’t have a liquor license so you can bring your own. We saved over $ 100 eating Valentines in Manor. Who knew. Great Pizza, side, music and now fine dining. Great Job and looking forward to more Papa Geno’s.

Considering they are the only pizza place in Manor with good food, there isn’t much of a choice. Sure they are a little pricey and they don’t offer delivery til late, but considering the alternate options, I gladly pay the money and pick it up myself.
