The park is small & the cleanliness is a bit lacking(I was taking photos this morning and accidentally got a Whataburger floater-by cup in my heron shot)… :/ Although the overall trash pick-up needs improvement, the area itself is well maintained(I did not venture into the restrooms, although they are available). The grounds are mowed, trees are cared for, and it’s a relatively private location. Parking is a $ 5.00 fee(honor system under threat of citation). I’m not sure about the boat launch fees. The park is peaceful, nothing fancy, no playgrounds or misc. extras, although I did note a fishing path adjacent to the boat launch(north side of launch). If you’re looking for a quiet spot, or just want to get on the water, the amenities are more than adequate. Hope this helps, I hadn’t planned on the first review, and I’m surprised this park isn’t listed with Unilocal yet! :)
