Hayden Optometric Associates

In the past year Dr Hayden introduced me to the Optokinetic hard contacts. I was tired of wearing my daily contacts, so he mentioned wearing hard contacts at night that reshape my eyes while I sleep. I put them in at night and I can watch tv or read easy, when I wake up, I can see, then when I take them out in the morning, I can see all day and night. I love it! Everyone has been very helpful to me. I would try it and give it a try.

We used them for many years but lately their customer service is wanting. Couldn’t even get a call back from the optometrist for a question. Was told by the office manager he’s too busy to do call backs — make an appt. to come in (and undoubtedly charge for it). I guess he’s doing too much business to take 5 minutes before he goes home to call a long time customer. Have now gone elsewhere where they are happy for our business.

My family and I have been going to Dr. Hayden for year, going on 20 I hate to say. Always been a great guy, top in his field and really cares about his patients. I have since moved a few times and I travel to continue seeing annually Dr. Hayden! 5 stars!

Dr. Hayden uses the latest optometric technology and provides a very thorough and efficient exam.

I have been going to Dr. Hayden for about 3 years now and am always impressed with the courteous staff and level of professionalism in this office. They may not be the most high tech optometrist around but the service far outweighs any issues I have ever had.
I have had trouble with the lens of a pair of sunglasses I purchased from them popping out; I drop them off and they are always willing to fix it. Even when my puppy got a hold of my glasses they were able to salvage the pair without any hesitation.
Great staff, family friendly, moderate selection of lenses.

Good guy, great Doctor, helpful staff. Wish the selection of eye wear was a little bit more stylish but whatever… I purchased several pairs of glasses there.

I recently was looking for a new eye Doctor and came across Dr. Hayden.
What a great Dr. I had a very thorough exam and I felt like he took his time trying to find the correct prescription for me.
I have a new glasses that I love. They had a variety of choices for me to pick from.
Everything looks great. No punn intended.
The staff was very kind and helpful.
I would highly recommend his practice to anyone.

Dr Hayden’s office is great… The staff is friendly and knowledgeable regarding eye benefits and co-​insurance. They looked up our benefits and we were able to get frames and contacts. My Daughter was heading to college and they offered to mail them directly to her school. Dr. Hayden is professional with a great sense of humor not like the stuffy eye doctors I’ve seen in the past. The glasses in a box type of franchise can’t compete with him!!!

Being new to the area i decided to try out this place since it was the closest one near my work that took UHC insurance. I also wanted to go cause my eyes seemed to be getting worse and i didn’t want to discover any type of shock at the DMV having them tell me i needed glasses. SO, I scheduled the appointment within a few days of calling and when i went there the office isn’t elaborate but it is the quality that i the most impressed with. The equipment appeared to be adequate and the staff was not bubbly but helpful as much as they could be. Dr. Hayden was super friendly and we chatted about his family and mine as well. I left not needing any type of prescription but told my wife she needed to go there. So we scheduled her appointment and brought the kids along. They were typical kids being monsters in the small waiting area. The staff didn’t seem to mind and took it with stride. We ended up in and out quickly and didn’t have to wait more then 15 minutes for her either. It was a quick and easy process. I would have to say the insurance he processed personally since they had problems with uhc in the past. i am glad they looked it up even though i knew it was only a 15 $ copay. Well 5 stars from my experience and also my wife. We’ll be going back, me in a few years and her next year! Kudos to someone who is friendly and has a nice small business.

Myself, my wife, and two boys have been going to Dr Hayden for over ten years. We have always had a good experience and he and his team have been nothing but professional. Dr Hayden is especially good with the kids and makes them feel comfortable, usually doing a magic trick before their exam.
His office is a bit small but that’s to be expected at an independent optometrist’s office. However his prices are reasonable and I’d rather support a small local business than the big chain optometric companies.
I would highly recommend Dr Hayden’s services to anyone.
