Be careful when you order to go at this store and check before you leave. I ordered 1 pound of slice brisket togo for $ 16.00. I also purchased $ 9.00 of lotto tickets for a total of $ 25.00 plus tax. I live in Frisco and I should have check the small foam hamburger box because when I got home and opened it there was only 8 ounces and I know this cause I put it on my good scale. I called the store today 6-23-2016 and spoke to the lady that I assume is the owner. She was very rude and said she weights the food all the time. I am sure she does but she only weight 8 ounces on my order instead of 16 ounces. As a small business owner you would think she would have a better approach. I know that I will not be back but she could have handled it better. By the way the brisket was not all that especially when you get rip off. I wonder how many times they have done a shortage and no one has taken time to post this type of service. Sad, sad sad!

I will start off with this, this place is absolutely amazing. I knew I was in for a treat when I pulled in and saw the smoke rollin. Little did I know this would end up being the best damn BBQ for miles around. The service is fast, friendly, and charismatic. The food falls off the bone and has a perfect smokey taste. I had a ribs and hot link plate, because hot links are my thing. I gotta tell you this is the best BBQ you will find within 100 miles of this place and if you don’t agree with that, your feet stink, you don’t know Jesus, and your momma don’t love ya. Go out of your way and eat at Joes, you’ll be better for it.

Great burgers, great bar-b-que. Everything tastes homemade. It’s great to drive by and smell the smoke. I recommend the brisket; a little different than the chains, sometimes it can be greasy, but the TASTE!!! Highly recommend!

After being handed a complimentary rib, my hubby’s eyes crossed. In that moment, I knew this was the place to be! Hubby said that the meat fell off the bone. Ribs are as large as mine! A man could get full off of 2 ribs. he owner has a big personality and doesn’t meet a stranger. The owner takes pride in his food, and it shows. For a convenient store disguised as a red barn of sorts, complete with a belly smoker, there is so much to offer. Ribs, brisket, candy, gum, chips, pop, French fries, hot links, smoked sausage, lotto, pop, etc. You can even enjoy the game on TV while you wait.

Joe’s is the best kept secret in the Britton, Joe Pool, Grand Prairie area. More of a BBQ, Catfish, Wings &5 Star Burger joint than a General Store. Come here to Take Out or eat at one of the 3 tables. You won’t be disappointed if you are into Southern grilled, deep fried or BBQ.

This is a hidden jewel in Mansfield. Joe’s has some great food and great workers/cooks! The brisket is really tender and smoked just right. The chicken sandwich… great! And the hot wings… OMG…the hot wings are best wings ever! My family orders food from Joe’s at once a week. Satisfaction is guaranteed!

Very fresh and worth the wait catfish basket. They also have BBQ items and wings too! Get them to go if you want but we stayed and enjoyed the fillets fresh out of the kitchen. Will be back to try the rest!

This was my first time stopping after passing the store at least 20 times. This is the definition of small family owned general store. The BBQ Brisket sandwich and Hot Link sandwich was excellent. I will be back to try the rest of the menu. We watched the TCU vs. WVU game. Very friendly staff!!!

This is a family business run by some great people. They smoke the best BBQ I’ve ever had and seem to always be open. Super convenient!

I’ll start by saying this place is small and the defines hole in the wall. Me, my wife, and son stopped in because we love in the neighborhood so we wanted to see how much their beer was since it’s the closest thing we have to a store near us. We parked and got linebacker tackled by the smoke coming out of the what looked like a homemade BBQ smoker. Went inside and immediately greeted by the jovial cashier. Ordered 3 links total 27 bucks… Yup damn already ordered guess this gonna happen I thought. 27 bucks for three links. However each plate came with two links chips and a coke. Amazing. Every last bite was good. The guys running the place were friendly and inviting. The sauce was good the ol white bread and link that makes me dream of summer was good. The only thing missing was a beer I didn’t buy one because I had to work I would of settled for some sweet tea or lemonade but they didn’t have any of that. I truly hope this little gem stays in my neighborhood for a while.
