Palio’s makes a great pizza and I love this place because they offer gluten free options as well as vegan cheese.

Pretty decent little pizza place. What I liked: Nice atmosphere. Quaint and just the right level of background noise so you can carry on a conversation. I didn’t have tell yell to talk to my wife who was sitting next to me. The pizza was really good as well. First off, it was not greasy! We both really liked that. Also, we didn’t feel stuffed after eating our pizza. What I didn’t like: Apparently my idea of extra pepperoni & theirs are COMPLETELY different!

Ordered online from their website tonight for my family and I. We ordered a medium pizza, Chicken il Palio pasta, and a Caesar salad. The food was ready at the time they quoted us and the service was friendly and fast. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great Italian food.

Some of the best thin crust pizza around and some awesome wings too! Plus a BYOB restaurant is always a plus :)

My go-to place! And it’s got gluten free options! I usually get the gluten free pizza. They can do just about anything on the menu gluten free and it tastes amazing! The inside of the restaurant is very cozy too. Dim lighting and relaxed atmosphere. Family friendly but not obnoxious. And the staff is so nice, unlike the 16 year olds working at Pizza Hut that don’t give a crap about your food. Delivery takes a bit longer here, but it’s worth the wait. The prices are a little higher than other pizza places, but again, totally worth it. I’ll pay a few extra bucks for the great taste. The food is always fresh! I would highly recommend Palio’s!

Very good, we were tired and the pizzas really hit the spot. The pricing is interesting. A small with pepperoni is almost the same price as a fully loaded small. I think I would have ordered one of the other ones, and saved half for the next day. Really loved the sauce, toppings and crust. Very tasty!

Our son introduced us to the place. The food is good. Never any issues or complaints. Family owned. Friendly staff.

Great pizza! And really enjoyed BYOB. Although I think it’s pretty redicoulous that they charge extra for ranch dressing… and the customer service at the counter was below average for sure. The 16 year old that greeted us seriously lacked enthusiasm. But hey, the food was good, so I’ll still come back. Looking forward to trying the location in Denton/Little Elm area.

My husband and I were here around 5 on a week day. This location is BYOB. It was my first time and my husband and I ordered the baked ziti with meat sauce and a large meat and cheese deluxe(I think that’s what it is called). It came so quickly! I was very impressed with speed at a place with a pretty wide menu variety(pizza, pasta, sandwiches, etc). The staff was incredibly friendly. The restaurant was clean and has TVs that aren’t strangely loud. Tons of seating including outdoor seating which would be nice during fall or winter. The food was SO fresh. It was delicious. You could taste each ingredient in both dishes. The crust was the perfect thickness to support the pizza, the perfect amount of sauce, perfect amount of cheese which strikes a delicate balance and ensures the pizza wasn’t greasy at all. Also would be interested in trying their extensive list of creative pizzas and I like that, according to other reviews, you can split half and half 2 specialty pizzas. Will definitely be returning!!!

We made our first visit here tonight, based solely on the reviews here. Without a doubt, Palio’s has a loyal following, and it is well-earned. First of all, there is a shortage of dine-in pizza places these days. Second, locally-owned businesses need our support when they are doing the job right… and Palio’s does it right. When you walk in, you will noticed the restaurant is counter-service. You may encounter people sitting in the little entryway, but they are most likely waiting for to-go orders. Grab a laminated menu & peruse the selections. We selected a large Meat & Cheese Deluxe(something akin to an all-meats kind of recipe), an order of spaghetti & meatballs, and an order of cheese bread.(Note: pasta entrees also come with two pieces of cheese bread). They have a nice selection of salads, pastas, calzones, sandwiches, and gourmet pizzas, as well as made-to-your-order pizzas. I also noticed daily and lunch specials that are worth a return trip. The cheese bread(Small — $ 4.99) came out hot & quickly. It was served with a small cup each of a garlic butter sauce & a sweet marinara.(Extra sauces are 25 cents each… order extra — they are GREAT). The bread could have had more cheese for my taste. It is a nice starter, though. The pizza & pasta were not far behind the bread. The spaghetti was a decent sized bowl with five meatballs for $ 9.49. I seems like there is a different sauce for the spaghetti than the bread. It had a subtle kick to it. The pasta was cooked nicely, but there was too much sauce for our liking & it was all mixed together. It is not an upscale dish, by any means. It is, however, decent. I would definitely The pizza, however, was beyond good. The crust had that perfect combination of crispy exterior & chewy goodness. Plenty of toppings, along with a mozzarella & cheddar cheese blend adorned the square cut pie. Yes, this is a pizza that deserves to be called a pie. I understand they are more than happy to do a half & half pizza, and when you look over their gourmet selections, you may just be tempted to do this. I say, you only live once! Go for it. By the way, I noticed they also have a Fort Worth location, so saddle up & head to Cowtown if it is closer. I believe they were making their dough from scratch while we were there, so as good signs go, that is the top of the list.

Great thin crust specialty pizzas. Been going here since they first opened and it is still as good now as it was then. I have tried a multitude of the different pizzas and never been disappointed. BYOB and enjoy.

This was a really nice place to go eat. We ate outside and the pizza was amazing. The only reason why I am not giving it 5 stars is because my order was messed up twice. I ordered hamburger pizza and received ham pizza and my salad had the incorrect dressing. I will definitely eat there again. The food tastes so good and the restaurant is very clean. Also, the service was good as well.

We wanted something other than dominoes or papa johns that delivered, and this place had some excellent reviews. I ordered the Greek bread on wheat, the Sonora, pizza of the month, and a «create your own” — thin & thick crusts. It was all delivered in about 30 minutes, still very warm and fresh. The bread/crusts got soggy pretty quickly and weren’t as crispy as I would’ve liked, but with delivery that’s to be expected. Overall, everything tasted good and fresh, and left me feeling extremely fatigued due to over eating afterward! lol I highly recommend the Sonora pizza– thin crust, and without green olives! :)

I love Palio’s pizza! My boyfriend and I went here last week(I used to go all the time with my family) and the pizza is just so amazing. It’s not«fast food» but it’s definitely worth any kind of wait.

While visiting a friend yesterday, I decided to try out this local pizza shop. Well… Was I pleasantly surprised. They did have a wait that was slightly over an hour for delivery but it was worth it. Plus, 1. We were experiencing inclement weather in DFW and 2. Perhaps they have a high wait time because of demand for their food. Okay, ordered the Hawaiian Sunrise Pizza and added Italian sausage. I know, I know, Hawaiian isn’t everyone’s cup O’ tea but the common denominators are the same. Dough/crust, sauce, cheese and quality of ingredients. The dough/crust was very good. The Mozzarella and Cheddar was plentiful. The pineapple… Could swear it was fresh and not canned. It was crisp, not soggy like you expect with canned. Overall, a nice medley of favors due to quality ingredients. The squared slices were a bit meh but that nominal. I’d rather have a dang good square cut pizza than a standard sliced piece of crap any day. Do yourself a favor and try this place out and kick the corporate brands to the trash where they belong. At this point, my only issue is that I don’t live in the area so I can try other menu items.

First time ordering here. We did delivery. It came faster than expected and everything we ordered tasted fresh, flavorful and delicious! They have such a variety of pizzas. I love their new wheat crust option too. We ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, two medium pizzas on wheat. Half Molly half Hawaiian sunrise. And the other pizza was half scorcher half King. Seriously all of it was so good! The wheat did not take away from the pizza at all! I’m definitely coming back to try their other pizzas and pastas!

We have been here for dinner and lunch now. The first time we came it was a bit slow but the speed has picked up(as we expected). The first time I got a fettucini alfredo and my wife got a pizza. They were both delicious. For lunch, we both got a lunch special. She got a pizza and salad and I got a calzone and salad. For $ 8.99, this is the best lunch special in Midlothian. The calzone was delicious. The crust was brushed with butter, garlic and Parmesan and the marinara dipping sauce was a good addition. The salad is average. I’m not a big fan of the house dressing(balsamic) but I do like the creamy Italian.
