We visited the location in Chelan and were very disappointed. While we were waiting for our two sandwiches, the lady making them checked our order three times, apparently it had been entered into the computer system wrong first, then they couldn’t figure out on their ordering screen which sandwiches were together in an order… figured by the third time she checked the order they would have it right. Then they handed us a bag with three sandwiches(we ordered two) and said they would just give us the mistake one complimentary. Thanks but we’re only two people and we aren’t planning on overeating just because it’s free. So we ended up with one cold cut sandwich toasted(not ordered), one cold cut sandwich with the wrong veggies, and one veggie sandwich with again the wrong veggies, wrong cheese and no dressing. Felt like I was going to choke because it was so dry. If we weren’t on a road trip and already 30mins away by the time we opened them, we would’ve gone back and asked for a refund. My recommendation is check your order before you leave.

Jeff was so welcoming & helpful when we came in for our first time. I felt right at home: comfortable & happy. I got the lady of the lake tuna & wow! Delicious! My boyfriend ordered the freakin’ stehekian & was very satisfied & happy. Wonderful owners & delicious subs. Can’t wait to stop in again on our next trip over.

This place makes great sandwiches, has friendly staff and their ice cream is so yummy. My favorite icecream flavor to mix together is chocolate and peanut butter(it’s real peanut butter!) Super delicious. I’m never disappointed and they are always so kind! We come every time we stay at Wapato Point.

I love these guys! My go to is the Wapato Buffalo and a side of jalapeño mac & cheese. I work at an extremely busy place and Green Dot is willing to deliver to me, big thank you!

If you want FAUXSNOOZE irratating you, this is the place to be! Would think a business such as this would not put their political beliefs on display.

My husband and I were looking for a light lunch and on a whim decided to try Green Dot. We loved it! We wanted to split a sandwich and the nice lady behind the counter got our order just right; i.e. cucumbers only on one half, no mustard on the other, etc. Every ingredient, including the bread, was fresh and delicious. The nice man(owner?) delivered our sandwich halves to us on the deck on individual trays. The shop was spotless too, which is important to me. Next time we are in Manson we will definitely be back. Thanks for a great business!

My wife had a Tuna Melt that she said was way too skimpy on the Tuna. I think the bread(hoagie roll) to Tuna ratio needs to be reevaluated. My sausage sandwich was tasty, but the meat was only warm and almost cold in places. We will have to return and try other offerings. Nice sandwich shop atmosphere and friendly staff. We were thrilled that they went away from making you fill out a form to order. If the dining area TV must be on it should be on something less distracting — i.e. not a News Channel.

Outstanding sandwiches! Food worth coming back time and again for and as added bonus you are supporting a small family business run by great friendly people that really take a lot of pride in serving quality food in a clean atmosphere. Already longing for another trip back for the stehekin sub.

This is an excellent sandwich shop. The owner is the reason. He cares and the quality of what they put out is excellent. The place is spotless. If you are in Manson, stop by for lunch. I had the Italian sub and it was delicious. My wife had a turkey sub and loved it.

This place is awesome! Quality ingredients and extremely FRIENDLY Staff & owner. Ate here 2 nights in a row and plan on going back. Freakin’ Stehekan was amazing. My wife is very picky about her meat and usually only gets veggies at these types of places but she was so impressed with my sub that she got the turkey when we came back and loved it! My two young daughters are picky too and they love the Mac N Cheese. Subs are perfectly sized and filling, great value. I typically always customize my sandwiches but in this case I recommend getting your sub«green dot style».

Nice to be back home in Manson and always great to have a meal here. The staff is the best! My favorite sub is the cheeseburger sub. Can’t go wrong with any of the sandwiches.

While my Freakin’ Stehekan was not quite as engorged with meat as some of the pictures I’ve seen, it was absolutely delicious. The best way I can describe the experience is if you were to go to a restaurant and order a salad, bread and a meat entrée, and then take some of each with each bite– and the flavors all worked in a wonderfully distinct and complimentary way. The other two things I’d add are: a) I really liked the order sheet they have at each table, as I am somewhat of a stickler of getting specifically what I want, when ordering, and b) the guy that waited on me was about as friendly a person as you could ever hope to meet. Full disclosure, I am from the north east, so everyone in Washington is friendlier than I am used to. The only negative I can think to mention is that the prices were a little high. I might not have felt that way had my sandwich looked like some others I see posted on here, but mine was, at most, 60% the size of those. Even so, I would come here again in a heartbeat.

I get a little skeptical when I read reviews of a small town eatery because they don’t really have a lot of people critiquing them and, no offense, I wonder if the people who reside here ever get out to the big cities to have a well-rounded review. Well, this place being ever-so-convenient to get to from our lodge, we opted to go here because of the reviews and sheer convenience. Walking there took one minute, but we almost froze our tooshes off, g’lord it’s freezing here. We were greeted by a kind lady and given the run down of popular choices and a brief history of the sammiches origins and I got the _____(forgot the name, but had three meats: ham, roast beef, and bacon) and my lady got some breakfast wrap. Bundled with a bag o’ SunChips and a Diet Coke, the total came to roughly $ 17. We went back to our room, opened our wrappings, and began to devour what I remember being a fairly large sandwich. My lady told me she enjoyed her breakfast wrap, although she should have opted for some meat, but as for me, I got growingly upset as I kept eating my meal. This was basically a Subway Melt, which I love, but FAR more tastier and cheaper. The flip… now I have to go back to the city and overpay for drier bread, older meat, and have to suffer the blobfish-faced Subway employees instead of this pleasant lady.(Look it up. I promise you, my Subway sandwich artists resemble blobfish. It sucks.) Well, not sure when I’ll be back here since it’s over 3 hours away, but if I do make my way back here, you bet your bodacious bottom I’m eating here again. Kudos to you, kind lady. You’ve ruined my sub sandwich days forever.

How much sense does it make to have a half sandwich(Probably 5″) the same price as a kids meal with the same size sandwich? Not much if you ask me, but guess which one I ordered?! The Turkey sandwich off the kids menu. Nothing special. Of course I saw that they had a Teriyaki Sub after I had already got mine. DARN! I bet that was good! I tell ya, I was going to give Green Dot a 3, but then I realized how friendly the kids were. I mentioned to my husband, its not very often you find young kids(high school age) that act like they give a shit in the customer service industry. The kids were actually so friendly, even asked us how our sandwiches were. So for that reason alone I bumped up my original rating. Maybe if they are around next year, I will try a real sub and that might bump them up to a nice 5!
