Phoung took me as a walk in this morning. She did a great job giving me an a-​line! I’m very pleased with the outcome. She even took the time to blow dry and straighten it (which I wasn’t expecting since this salon doesn’t charge you a car payment for a cut). I brought my oldest daughter in to her also a few weeks back and she did a great job on her medium length cut.
Amber also did an awesome job on my 10 year old’s hair.
All the staff here are very friendly and welcoming.
I’m glad I took a chance and dropped in to this place!

I haven’t had my hair cut professionally in 8 months, therefore I was desperate to find something in Manteca.
I am ALWAYS hesitant going into hair salons simply because I don’t trust anyone with my hair, and I was continued to have apprehensions entering the salon. I got my hair by a Vietnamese woman named Phoung.
She was absolutely fantastic, not only doing a great job in my hair, but giving me exactly what I asked for and not chopping off the length of my long hair. I came with a picture and a request not to shorten my hair and she definitely executed.
The job was already 5 stars worth, but she deserves 6 stars for being so enthusiastic and giving me positive energy through conversation. Simply put: she also put me in a good mood.
$ 18 for wash & cut.
Definitely recommend Phoung as a hair stylist. Mind you, she takes cash & not card.

I’m a frequent « Unilocaler» so I was surprised not to find a review when I looked up this place. SUE {or SUZETTE} is absolutely ah-​mazing when it comes to getting my hair done. It’s best to make an appointment, as she books quickly, but she is fantastic with scheduling, especially last minute.
I finally found Angle’s salon after living in Manteca for about four months. Then it was about trusting someone with my hair, to cut it how I wanted it, not how THEY thought it would look better. Suzette is great. It’s always good to bring in a photo, one from a magazine or even on your phone. I do, then I ask her to tweak the hairstyle by adding a bit more length or I ask her to «keep the bangs». She listens to every thug I ask, will add her opinion on what might also look good in addition to my suggestions. They are always great ideas and I walk away happy. Never disappointed.

Upon our first appointment Amber took the time to fix mistakes made on my hair by myself and my previous stylist. She also cut and colored for a great price.
Two years later I am still in love! Amber always does exactly what I want, while doing her own thing. She takes the time to do my hair right, and is a great conversationalist. I will never let anyone else touch my hair!

I am writing this review on behalf of my brother who had a less than desirable experience at this salon. I purchased a Groupon voucher for a massage with Marissa Groves. I am using her name, because the Groupon was specifically for her services. My brother made an apt. and went in for his massage, only to be left on the massage table waiting for the massage therapist, who kept leaving the room. After 15 – 20 miniutes, Marissa came back and told him she was sick and needed to «throw-​up» and that she needed to reschedule. She then told him if he came back, she would give him a «30 minute» massage. The voucher was for 60 minutes and he should be entitled to the entire 60 minutes. I have since been in contact with Groupon to resolve the issue, but Marissa has never called me or my brother back. What kind of customer service is that? So, anyone purchasing the same massage voucher, be aware of what my brother experienced and maybe choose a different massage therapist elsewhere.

I love this place, my hair stylist, SUE is fun and knows what you want! I get my hair color done with her since I moved to Merced, I know it is far from Manteca. The drive worth it when I get my highlights she takes her time getting it right for me. I had several different colors like magenta, blue, and red at once. Absolutely, I received so much compliments from school, friends, and colleagues.
For haircut, I do not think it really work out for me, it did not fit my face, but go for her if you want to dye your hair or highlights. She is extremely sweet person.
The price is reasonable for highlight, always a lot cheaper then the bay area and some places in central valley.

Judy regularly does my mani/​pedi. She’s seriously the best nail person ever! Her work is excellent (she’s a real artist) and she’s the friendliest person you’ll meet. She doesn’t rush you, which really makes the experience like a spa visit. Judy is extremely professional, and as the shop general manager, handles all her duties elegantly.

Don’t go for your nails. My nails starting flaking off the same night I had them done. They were chiping and coming off in flakey chunks… some in the (almost) entire shape of my nail. The person who did my nails would ask me personal questions, pause for a moment and then look away to see what the other women /​customers were saying. Very nosey… in other peoples conversations. It was an uncomfortable experience and I will not recommend this place to others.
