Forget Michaels for frames! Go to Frugal Frames — you won’t be disappointed. And you will also be supporting a local business. I took two old pictures my father wanted framed and had the older one of them done with ‘UV’ glass to keep it from fading — these guys definitely know their old pics, which I truly appreciate, since you can’t always replace the oldies. Very reasonable price and 2 fantastic pictures! Thank you Frugal Frames — I will definitely be back.

George the owner is really helpful, has good creative ideas and does real nice work! They do formal art to sports theme and jerseys, to shadow boxes, prints to nerd-​tastic framing work.
One of the better local businesses downtown.

This place is amazing!!! I came in with a guitar to have put into a shadow box and he spent almost an hour helping me with ideas and colors because I had no clue what I wanted. When I got the finished product it was so much better than I had imagined!!! It had to be completely custom built to fit the size and he did such perfect work!!! Highly highly recommended!!!

This is a great business! Customer service is clearly a top priority. Very friendly and immensely helpful. I was planning on getting a large puzzle framed and mentioned to the owner that I didn’t have a proper surface to glue the puzzle. He went in the back and gave me some cardboard, all before I even committed to using his services, they are just that kind of business. They really took their time with me and gave me the best deal possible, will definitely be coming her for all my future framing needs.

Great local business. Wonderful prices and wonderful service. He has great ideas and will work with you to create what you are looking for. I think they moved downtown near the post office. and the Yosemite location is closed.

Nice guy, knowledgeable and has a decent selection. If he doesn’t have it, he can get it from his other store in Stockton which carries a bigger selection. We’ve been happy wtih everything they’ve ever done, and will continue to use Frugal for our framing needs.

I’ve take a few pictures here to get framed and they came out better than expected! This guy does really good work. He also put together a signed Raiders jersey framed that came out really nice. Definitely recommend.
