This is the letter I sent Dr. Miller:
Dr. Miller:
Since you have decided to cancel my surgery, I want you to know that as a current senior manager of a fortune 500 company and a former CEO of a research firm I have absolutely no reason to lie nor will I benefit in any way to fabricate any stories. I honestly expected a doctor to take the feedback from Unilocal constructively. Personally, I would have taken the feedback and made the necessary changes in my organization to improve my business. The fact that you have formed your opinion so prematurely without hearing my side of the story as your client reflects very poorly on you.
I waited two months for this surgery, and you are cancelling it in retaliation for the honest feedback I provided you about your staff. You have met me twice in your office, and if I have come across as a discourteous individual, then you have every right to believe what you have been told. Otherwise, the assumptions you have made are wrong.
1) I talked to your staff ONLY once after my last visit, which was two months ago, and the person I spoke with was so polite and apologetic that it would be been wrong for me to be mean or disrespectful to her in any way let alone swear at her or use any type of inappropriate language. So if you are told something different, I can assure you it was a lie.
2) Because I had started my new job, I asked your staff if I could do the consultation on the phone, and I was told I needed to come in. So if I refused to come in for the consultation, why would I schedule my face-​to-​face consultation appointment during the same phone call for November 25 at 4:45 PM? After all, that is why I had been trying to contact your office in the past two months.
3) If your office had the incorrect phone #, how did they get a hold of me for the initial consultation with you and the follow up to review the results of my foot x-​ray? Assuming that they did not have the correct phone #, why would your staff not use the phone # that was left on your voice mail at least 4 times?
In any case, I understand you want to protect your staff, and that is what I would do. However, to make a decision that impact a patient’s well-​being in retaliation based on fabricated lies is completely unprofessional and unethical. I will be glade to seek care from another physician, especially now that I have premium insurance through my new employer.
BTW, I have also sent a copy of my response along with your letter to my physician and HPSJ. Additionally, I have filed a formal complaint about you with the Board of Podiatric Medicine for trying to discredit me.

This guy is hilarious and very good at what he does. Very aware of medical billing and try’s to see you in least visits as possible while getting the job done if your co pay is out the roof like mine was. Really puts me at ease with the situation at hand. Hes too good! What others told me would be a terrible in patient operation before i went in ended up feeling like snow falling on my feet followed my feeling pressure with the local anesthetic shot and then more pressure for the procedure.
