Pizza & Pints Pizzeria

Ordered a large combo to go. Got home and half the crust was cold and uncooked. It was so hot in our house that we didn’t wanna turn on the oven to finish cooking it, so we tossed the slices in the microwave. Major bummer. With all the rave reviews, we had high hopes for this place.

LOVE THIS PLACE! They honestly have the best pizza I have ever had, it’s really delicious. The atmosphere is always nice and quiet with great music. It’s also kid friendly which is a huge plus as we always come in on Thursdays after our daughters gymnastics. Bonnie is amazing not only is she a pizza genius but her customer service is top notch. We just ordered our pizzas for our daughters birthday party from them and they even came in early to make sure our pizzas were ready and we received many compliments on their food. I highly recommend Pizza and Pints Pizzeria to anyone looking for a great and affordable place to eat!

We went to Pizza and Pints to celebrate my Granddaughter’s graduation, and I have to say the place maybe a bit small the pizza was the best I have had in a long time. Especially the Moes popper pizza. What made it an even more enjoyable celebration was the customer service by Marisa and Ally we were a large group but they were on it. The food was served piping hot and kept coming. They were very attentive to detail making sure to clear empty plates and give new plates and anything we needed. I come from a southern state known for hospitality and I tell you. I felt right at home and was very pleased. I know our California family will make sure to make this a regular stop if not to eat in for certain take out. The pizza was original and far from the old ho hum you get at the big chain places. So FYI if your ever in Manteca and want a great tasting pizza this is the spot!

Pizza was really good. Staff was very friendly. They had karaōke tonite. Which anyone with liquid courage can sing. Lol. It was nice though.
Can’t wait till summer time in the patio.

Excellent food and excellent people. Went to pizza and pints for the first time on 4÷16÷16 with my husband. Not only was the pizza great but there was that small home town feel that you don’t see a lot anymore I will definitely be back and with my kiddos

This was a really great happy hour spot for my friends and I while I was in town. The happy hour prices were great, as was the pizza. Mo’s pepper popper pizza is the bomb!

Hey you! Looking at the damn pizza place on your phone. Stop looking and get your ass in here and enjoy some good music, great atmosphere, and fantastic pizza. I don’t have a particular set of skills, if you don’t come here I will not find you, I will not hunt you down, and will do nothing. But seriously it’s a great place come down and try for yourself.

when it comes to pizza, me and my family are pizza snobs, lol… moved to Manteca from San Jose over a year ago and been on the hunt for some great pizza like we enjoyed in SJ. Pizza and Pints filled that order for us… We loved the pizza and the pizza guy Joel… he was super friendly and his pizza making skills were on point… We found our pizza nitch and will be enjoying our weekly pizza fix here… oh and the music/​dj was an added plus… Try it out and judge for yourself… you won’t be dissapointed!

Good spot, the pizza is really good. Only issue is only one guy working on a Friday night. He was making pizzas, taking orders and cashier. Great guy with great attitude but took a while to get served. The owners need to get this guy some help before they burn him out. Other then that, everything else was great. The pizza was good enough that I’ll try this place again. Much appreciation to the effort on making sure my family enjoyed the night.

Haven’t had a pizza this good in a long time. The crust is tender, the sauce has a nice tang, and the prices were awesome. The best part was the owners mom. She was very sweet and had a great personality. We had the poppers with bacon also. They use yellow peppers so they aren’t as spicy as jalapeños but were very tasty, too. Watch out Pizza Plus, u have competition in the next town!!! We just found out that you can get the poppers with jalapeños. But if you aren’t into spicy the yellow peppers are wonderful, too. We should have known, the owners mom did kept telling us if we wanted something, «just ask.» She was awesome!!!

Am currently here relaxing on New Years and enjoying one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a while. Seriously come here speak to the owner and relax, enjoy youself and bring good company. This place is a great place to chill in and eat some solid food. I really recommend the stuffed mushrooms!

Very friendly staff, the stuff mushrooms were really good. The inside looks clean have a bunch of football memorabilia on the wall but no Monday night football on the tv’s. Food is pretty solid. I asked for my pizza to be well done on the crust; it could have been a bit crispier/​crunchier overall but the flavor was pretty on point. Red sauce is the foundational sauce that I rate pizza places off of and i’d say theirs is pretty good. (To be fair I had been fiending or pizza so a decent red sauce woulda seemed even better to me at the time probably). Their bacon is also crunchy (to me one of the most important aspects of bacon especially on pizza).
The garlic bread was pretty good too. Great portion size and they areny skimpy on the garlic spread on top. Some pieces were crispy on bottom and around the edges which was nice and all but that being said it coulda been crispier on top and bottom as a whole.
Id say the prices are pretty fair as well. Im kind of on the fence between 3 and 4 stars but for now I give them the benefit of the doubt at 4.

Great food and drinks. Try the jalapeño mango o Rita and try the Mac season fries they are both great!

I have been to a lot of pizza places over the years, and I have to say that this place tops them all. Not only is the owner awesome, but her family is too. Love seeing her cute son! We always get great service!
The pizza dough is amazing, made with love! Everything is fresh and always delicious. We like to go in to see what changes are on the menu and find new things to try.
This time we got the all meat pizza and and seasoned fries and… Wow. Just wow! You get great quality for your money, and isn’t that what it’s all about? Great Quality? This is our pizza place, you just can’t go wrong :-)

The name «Pizza & Pints» would have the consumer assume that there are many beer taps on hand to go with some pizza. The neon sign hanging from the front window suggests they have the typical watered down beer. The four taps on hand: Lagunitas, corona, and I think the other two were domestics… Enough about beer, lets begin with the pizza.
The seven or so reviews from Unilocal mentioned how great the pizza was. We ordered a simple pepperoni pizza. To judge the taste of the dough and sauce, it must not be over powered with other toppings for this first time visitor to the «Pizza & Pints.» Although the dough was very fluffy, It lacked flavor. The sauce was basic. canned sauce. could be, not sure. We also had some breadsticks. Again not impressed, they were okay. We were definitely hungry so we ate em.
When we walked in the place, I couldn’t help but notice the unorganized set up. The booths are off to the left where the first booth is one sided and only faces the wall. The menu is tiny and taped to the wall. The ceiling fans are on too high and our napkins were flying all over the place. The music playing was inappropriate for families. Sketchy people were coming in and out from the back room. The owners children are running free through the tiny dining area. there was an incident where the child got his finger stuck in the front door.
We had to wait over 45 minutes for our pizza. The whole time we were there only two other families came in after us on a FRIDAY night. The worker told us how «Sorry for the wait… we were slammed» I don’t consider three orders in a 45 minute time span on a Friday night slammed.
The customer service was fine. Maybe needs some improvement on the timing out orders. There’s much room fro improvement and until then I don’t think ill be back.

I tried this pizza place a few weeks back when I was looking for a new place to get a better pizza than the big chains like round table & straw hat, & those aren’t the greatest pizzas for the prices they charge. I just moved from Stockton to Manteca and hoping to find something like the family «New York style» pizza places here in Manteca. Anyway, I saw this place & thought I’d give it a try b/​c I’m totally for supporting small businesses & I’ve found the food is usually better too. So I called in my order for a large combo w/​an additional topping that wasn’t on the combo & they were happy to add it on. When I get there, the inside is super nice & clean. Tv’s set up around the dining room for sports fans, over all good ambiance. The service was really spot on, they were friendly & attentive. So the reason for the 2 stars… well I get my pizza & don’t open b/​c I want it to stay steamy hot until I get home & I’m assuming by the look of their menu that it’s going to be a bomb a** pizza. I get home open the box & am so disappointed. There’s hardly any veggies (papa murphy’s take n bake puts more toppings than this place) & meat on the pizza & they completely didn’t put on the extra veggie I asked & charged me $ 3.00 for. For 1 extra topping that’s some serious price inflation. The pizza seriously looked like a frozen pizza from the grocery store & it really tasted like it too. It just was a complete let down. I had high hopes for this place.
I prefer small businesses & family run businesses over large chains & I want this place to succeed but honestly you won’t if this is what your serving. Do some research of other area family pizza places & try their pizzas. Look into making your own dough, vamping up your toppings where u don’t see much cheese. And some cheeses just aren’t made for pizzas b/​c when they melt they are greasy or don’t stretch like melted mozzarella. Customers like quality food and are willing to pay for it if it’s good, but the pizza I got doesn’t say quality it says cheap short cut & that maybe pre-​made items are all the cook &/​or owner know how to do.
A few pizza places (out of Manteca) that are yummy & aren’t afraid of making their own dough or covering the pizza w/​plenty of toppings…

They hand toss the dough and prepare the pizza individually. The only down side when I came in was that there was only one person working, so it did take a while, but I didn’t mind.
The pepper poppers are probably my favorite though! Tried the chorizo ones this time around. The pizzas are really cheesy, which is a plus. I’ll be back to try other pizzas.
