please read my story!
I have never been more displeased with any service in my life ever. I went here a while ago but never said anything.
This place is small and smells bad! The service is beyond horrible.
I went in for birth control, not knowing anything about the system, I was thorough in asking questions.
I waited for a long while and was finally called back. Told the doctor I needed birth control to regulate my cycle, I had just moved to the area and needed to find a new supplier that took my insurance card that I got from my old college (where I use to go for all my health needs)
I explained that I have always had problems with finding the correct pill and the ones I was taking at the time weren’t really working that well but well enough.
She left the room and came back with a full paper bag of birth control pills of the same type and a bag of condoms. She gave both bags too me. I was in confused because my old college only gave me a prescription every month. The doctor just looked at me and said «what, isn’t this what you wanted?»
Worried and asked what would happen if they didn’t work, and she told me that I could come back and exchange the pills to get ones that did and then she proceeded to rush me out.
I took the pills for a week and I had never had a worse reaction to any medication in my life, they gave me hot flashes and I felt like I wanted to die.
So I stopped taking them.
Went back to the clinic and was told that once a medication leaves the building it can’t be brought back. Also that they had charged my insurance card up for a whole years worth of pills and therefore I couldn’t use it to get new pills ANYWHERE. And INSISTED That I take the pills for three months before being eligible to even inquire about changing the pills.
So they FUCKED me over big time, I was not going to the pain of those pills, which meant my hormone levels would be off balance, my cycle was ruined, and I would be unprotected for three months if I was willing to go back to them and if not I’d have nothing for a whole YEAR!
Yet I wasn’t informed of ANYTHING. Until it was too late to fix it. I’ve had to wait for a year to use my card again, and it’s been unfair to take advantage of a young girl who needed help.
I use to support planned parenthood and supply money to their cause, however I cannot anymore. The service I received was a disgrace.

The rudest staff I’ve ever come across, at least act like you like your job and put a smile on your face. I made an appointment and still had to wait an hour and a half, I never had this problem in Tracy.

I have had okay visits here until recently. The assistant told me that my lower abdominal pain was my intestine based on the little I told her and she sent me to a nearby clinic. She also told me there are no female organs in the lower abdomen. Considering the uterus and ovaries are located here I beg to differ! After seeing many doctors I have finally been diagnosed with an ovarian cyst. I really think they shouldn’t allow the assistants to make assumptions like that and send a person away!
Even though I had a horrible experience I appreciate what Planned Parenthood is about and that they provide education and birth control. But if I ever have something more involved again I will go elsewhere.
