Pump It Up

The owners of this place a re a joke. They hire high school kids and do not require work permits. (illegal) They have their 13 year old daughter work and supervise kids (illegal) They also like to have their 13 year old daughter give them advice on how to run their business (stupid)

Good thing I didn’t pay to go here. They were totally inattentive to the kids — I myself got caught on the rock climbing wall coming down and could barely warrant the staff’s attention. They also closed early on us and were basically waiting for us to leave. The activities themselves were okay although some of the bouncy houses were pretty foul smelling.

Ok, I never thought I would review a room with bouncy toys, but here it is.
We came here for our son’s 4^th birthday celebration. We’ve been here several times, but not as hosts. Booking with Pump It Up was relatively easy. Reservations can be done over the phone. All you have to do is put a deposit down. They will take all your information and send you forms and documents by mail a few days later. Make sure you send the consent forms with the invitations and you’re done.
On the day of the celebrations, parties would show up at a specified time. They wait until your whole party is there and into the first room you go. The room was filled with a bouncy obstacle course, a bouncy mountain thing, and a bouncy jumping room. All in all, much fun was had by the kiddies.
Just when you had enough of the first room… There’s a second room! This one came with a bouncy slide, a rock climbing section, and another bouncy house. More bouncy fun was had.
Next they shuffle you into a room for cake, drinks, and pizza. Not the best pizza, but OK enough to not spit it out. After the snack, it was time for presents. They had this huge chair on one side of the room where the birthday boy (or girl) opens their presents. (Lots of picture opportunities here.) At this point, people start to shuffle out and head home.
Overall, a great place to have a child’s party. Kids are tired and you have no clean up!

Good indoor fun for the 3 – 8 age group. They basically are a bunch of bouncy houses but bigger and better. I’ve done the pop in playtime & on the hot summer days it’s a perfect way for the little ones to get out of the house and run around and save your sanity.
