I only wish Tea-licious had a more extravagant tea-selection, as the offerings are quite generic. However, their sandwiches and salads are not nearly so mundane, and the scones are pretty much the only reason I come in to work in Manteca so early(I work nearby). Talk about reasonable prices! Ten dollars gets you a pot of tea, a scone, and a salad. Their soup is also quite good. Wait staff is friendly and excited to see customers. The owner, Ms. Linda Gill has worked very hard to make her restaurant the pleasant, warm and inviting experience many of us remember from when we had tea with our grandmothers/stuffed animals. The décor is best described as chintzy grandma, but in this case, it’s a good thing. This place is great for a meeting with girlfriends, a tea party, or even a party for little girls(pricing on the kids menu is reasonble, and there’s a tea-time menu set just for the young ones). Tea-Licious also has a few wares up front for sale which can prove tempting for those with a habit of purchasing knick-knacks. Scones and sandwiches are willingly packaged to-go, if you’d like. Be wary of parking as the neighborhood is not the best. Try to park on Yosemite(the main thoroughfare), and in-view if you can, particularly in the later hours of the day. Break-ins are known to occur.
