Located in the clubhouse on the grounds of Manteca Park Golf Course is a nice little surprise called Uncle Frank’s Grill. The menu consists of hamburgers, hot dogs and deli sandwiches. The special today was a BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich. I was very hungry so I went Bacon Double Cheeseburger. The beef was well seasoned and they didn’t skimp on the American or the Bacon

I didn’t even know this place exists until some friends asked us to go with them because they had won a free lunch for 4. It’s located at the golf course and is next to the golf shop downstairs.
Golfers stop here for a quick bite to eat before or after their golf game. They have a television that is tuned to the Golf Channel, but fortunately the sound was turned down so it wasn’t obnoxious.
They have a walk up window where you order and they bring your food to you in little plastic baskets. They have the standard hamburgers and hot dogs, but also a few surprises, like the meat ball sandwich that I tried. Our friends both got the fish and chips. My wife got the hamburger special. You get tons of French fries, too! We ate indoors, but we noticed a few tables outside overlooking the golf course.
They serve quick and easy comfort food and they’re good at what they do. If you want a classier meal, go upstairs to Chez Shari.
