CenturyLink on the Outer Banks of NC. This company should be renamed CenturyUnlink. Century – because it will take that long to get someone from the office to come who knows what is going to talk to you. (un)Link, because after you deal with this company, your chances of being unlinked from the internet services are very high.
I called to schedule service. It took too many calls and what amounted to be about a «century» of waiting to get appropriate help. Then, despite your best efforts, they Unlink you from the rest of the world by not providing any useful internet services.
The BEST part about wasting time with unhelpful people and not getting any services is that they actually sent me a bill… yes…for services that were NEVER delivered. Wow… that is the most amazing outfit I’ve ever seen. They were unable to provide any services, and they are so disorganized that they sent a bill, thinking that they provided some phantom service. Nice!!!

From the first phone call, to the quality of the service and connection, to the last phone call, this was consistently the worst experience I have ever had with any service provider. I was lied to about service, pricing, contracts and cancellation policy. Save yourself money, time and headaches. Do not use CenturyLink.
