Roanoke Island Outfitters and Dive Center

We booked 3 days of diving with Roanoke Island Outfitters and we were very happy with the result.
They did everything at the boat so there was no need to go to the shop the day prior or the morning of.
The crew were professional and knew what they were doing.
Our first two days were great. On our third day we had some rough weather and we were doubtful we would be able to dive. We got past the sea buoy and had to turn back when the waves became unmanageable. Though we didn’t get to dive, we greatly appreciated the safety-​conscious decision of the crew and their solid attempt at getting us out to a dive site despite bad conditions.
I enjoyed my dives and I would dive with these guys again any day of the week.

We went on the BIOLUMINESCENCE TOUR; two teens and my husband and I. It was great. We had two guides; Matt the owner and Austin, a college student. They provided us with lots of interesting facts and we soaked it up. The glow in the dark jelly fish were hard to find the night we went, so they really went the extra mile to make our tour memorable. We kayaked in the salt marshes and a bit in the sound, 2.5 hours of nature and very very cool. It was the teens favorite part of our week long stay, even better than go karts!:
