Devour Desserts

I have purchased trays and boxes of desserts here several times and I am more impressed every time I indulge in one of these (ok, more than one) treats. I haven’t tried anything I don’t like and I’m always looking forward to trying new creations. The attention to detail and quality ingredients is what keeps me returning as a customer and referring my friends, as well. Thanks, Misty, for opening a quality dessert shop so close to home!

Thank you for creating such delicious and well thought out desserts! This establishment is so unique! A great alternative to a bar or restaurant for your next get together! The vanilla bean cupcakes with cream cheese butter cream icing are not to be missed!

Most amazing deserts ever!
I drive almost an hour to enjoy these treats!
Everyone who has tasted them at my parties (even my wedding) have said there is nothing like these delicious deserts
The shop is absolutely adorable and decorated with scenes from willie wonka (favorite movie of all time) and the owner who is always there to serve you is friendly and accommodating. You defiantly must try this place!

So, as a dessert enthusiast who often plays around with dessert making at home, my experience was underwhelming.
Originally quite excited to find another dessert place in the area, I walked into Devour greeted by hot pink walls, cute décor, and an interesting concept. A shop focusing on bite sized desserts for things typically found on a party dessert platter at, say, an office party or catered holiday get-​together.
Mix and match whatever you’d like into your own personal box of treats.
I got 5 things:
1) Caramel apple cheesecake bar: it’s tasty, but I felt it was something I could make at home… or already have made at home.
I have to complain however, I think she used the same cheesecake filling for her strawberries for this bar. It wasn’t a baked cheesecake bar like I had hoped, but had the gooey no-​bake texture under apple caramel crumble. Again, not bad, but I just wasn’t personally impressed.
2) Brownie batter truffle: It tasted like the name suggests, but I couldn’t finish it. Too flat and chocolatey for me.
3) Cheesecake stuffed dipped strawberry: the Unilocalers’ pick. Again, while tasty, underwhelmed. I think there’s more that could be done with the filling (maybe whip/​pipe it in or add some mascarpone for depth).
4) a cheesecake topped truffle? (I don’t remember the name): this was potentially good, but I could tell it was a little old. The (baked!) piece of cheesecake on top was becoming gummy.
5)**Dark chocolate macadamia nutella truffle: The STANDOUT. This was very good. The owner says these are her favorite and I see why. Creamy nutella and toasted macadamia inside a hard dark chocolate shell was texturally pleasing and yummy.
I wish I just bought more of these.
While I may not return, Devour probably has a place in the market. I can see the simple locals who enjoy entertaining picking up trays from here, especially if they don’t have the time to make simple desserts like this. The owner is also friendly, even threw in an extra strawberry in my box for free for my first visit.
They’ll impress the average consumer, but if you consider yourself a dessert connoisseur like myself, I wouldn’t exactly rush over.

Seriously lives up to its ratings. I bought a 12 piece assorted box and loved each thing inside. Highly recommend the cheese cake strawberries and dipped fruits. You honestly can’t go wrong with choosing anything. The owner is charming and sweet.

Omg I stopped in yesterday to see the store and check out in person what the desserts looked like. I was in charge of bringing desserts to a wine festival today and wanted to bring something really special. This place hit it out of the PARK! Misty, the owner, was there. I told her what I wanted to spend and she said she’ll put together a custom assortment for me to pick up the next day. I brought it to the festival and everyone lost their MINDS over these desserts. Chocolate covered strawberries stuffed with cheesecake… ridiculously amazing. Everything in this store is so delicious and I’m not even a big sweets person. HIGHLY recommend trying this place!

We just happened to drive by on our way to a party and saw the open sign! Super cute little shop. All the desserts are handmade and the owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The desserts look beautiful and I’m definitely going to make this my new spot when I want to bring treats to a party or serve them at my own! I’ll update later once I’ve eaten some

CLIMAX! That’s right, that’s what I said. This food is as close to the pinnacle as one can get with desserts. The chocolate SATISFIES every time and the bakery products will MELT in your mouth & make your knees BUCKLE! I would highly recommend you go get SOME today.

You must go to Devour Desserts. i can’t say enough about how delicious the selections are. There are many items you won’t find anywhere else. The ingredients are top quality. The restaurant has several cozy seating areas to relax, catch up with a friend and eat an amazing sweet treat with a cup of coffee. The cream cheese stuffed, chocolate dipped strawberries are to die for. One of my other favorites is the parfaits. Some with fruit., others with chocolate. You won’t be disappointed by anything you order. Devour also makes party trays and rents out the restaurant for special occasions.

I bought a few different things to try each one. I tried to only have a bite of the butter toffee truffle and could not stop eating it. Loved the hard outside and creamy tasty inside. The choc covered strawberries with strawberry cheesecake were delicious as well. My family loved them. Would highly recommend both the store which you just want to sit in and have coffee and all of the amazing desserts. Can’t wait to try more.

These are some of the most amazing desserts I’ve ever tasted from the chocolate dipped strawberries with cheesecake filling to the Oreo truffles unbelievable.
