This place is amazing! Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. I love that their selection is different from the«normal» candy shops on the coast.

Extremely rude! I stumbled into this store with my mother and my best friend. My mother was picking out several items for my son and my bff’s son. The owner or clerk extremely rude to my mother and to my best friend. First the owner told my friend to not lean on the glass case… but there are ways to say things and she apparently missed that course… She was also jumped on my mother for picking a lollipop out of the window display. Then my mother asked her separate the candy into two bags for the two boys… and again the woman very rudely said that she was much too busy and could only give my mother extra bags. After we left the store, my mother said she would never step foot in that store again. And I completely agree!!!

Cross the threshold and step back into a simpler time… with one big improvement! They have some gluten-free candies.

What I remember from last year was this: it was a great little shop that was never open when some locals/tourists were looking for some candies.

The nostalgic candy brands live here! Fun selection of old school candy(hello Black Cow and Squirrel Nut Zippers) and taffy. Dig taffy. She also has some wickedly good looking Moonstruck chocolates and truffles in the case. But I was so geeked out on filling my basket with candy brands from the 70s and 80s that I could have cared less about the high-brow stuff.

The perfect place to buy a Valentine’s gift or just treat yourself. They have a wonderful assortment of chocolates and old-timey candies. Give them a budget and a favorite flavor and they will put together a custom box of candies for your sweetie. The 5th star is because they stock sugar free choices for my low-carb hubby.
