My son attended a year of PreK at CdC and had an amazing year and is transitioning very well to a Spanish Immersion kindergarten program in the area. One day, I bumped into one of the teachers(Maestra Karen) in public and she stopped what she was doing to give my son a huge hug and talk to him for several minutes. You can’t fake that level of authenticity and care. The entire CdC staff is extremely caring, positive, and professional. The school is wonderfully CLEAN and well managed. I think the healthier meal choices and menu makes a difference in behavior and overall wellbeing for the kids. The cost of care was higher than our previous center, but worth it and very comparable to other centers in this part of Maple Grove. My only real negative is the semi-random close days for staff development/conferences which are a little hard to manage for working parents, but overall they balance with the centers flexible long/open hours and it is a small(but notable) inconvenience to have to find alternative care on those days. I appreciate the regular email updates on what is happening and pictures of the kids on theme days. We really love Casa de Corazon and will be sending our new infant daughter, as well. The Spanish language focus is just a bonus– This is prob. the best daycare in the area(period.) & still a well kept secret in Maple Grove. We didn’t seriously consider anywhere else.

I’m thrilled with Casa De Corazon. The teachers truly care about the kids — my daughter’s teachers always have interesting things to tell me about her day. She loves it there(some days she doesn’t want to leave)! And, the facility and food(organic, natural, made from scratch!!) are above and beyond anything we’ve seen at other daycares.

While pregnant with our second child my husband and I decided we wanted to send our oldest to a daycare/school part time(I stay home full time) so he could have interaction with other children and adults. I’ve heard a lot about the benefits of introducing a second language early on so we decided to tour Casa de Corazon. We toured in May 2014 and instantly knew it was the right choice. The school was incredibly clean, the food program was great, and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. My son started in Sept 2014 two days a week. The first few weeks were a tough transition but thankfully the teachers, staff and directors were very helpful. They comforted him, provided honest feedback to me when I emailed throughout the day, and helped all of us get through the tears! After over a year of attending two days a week my son speaks a lot of Spanish and I know he understands more than he says, too! We continue to love all the staff and are so thankful for the experience he is having at Casa de Corazon! He now runs in each morning and does not want to leave in the afternoon! I have, and will continue, to recommend Casa to friends and family.

I stopped in today for a tour of Casa de Corazon, aka Jardin Magico, in Maple Grove and absolutely fell in love! I remember when their building was the old MG library and was blown away by its transformation. Inside is big, bright, beautiful and clean. Each class room is geared specifically toward the age group it serves with loads of educational toys for fun and learning. I was also impressed that the majority of the staff have some type of degree related to childcare, and the staff is encouraged to further their education. They also provide cloth diapers which is not only environmentally friendly but saves parents from having to bring diapers, and they provide all organic meals. They even Purée all of their own baby food on site with organic fruits and veggies. I truly cannot wait to have my baby start receiving a bilingual education and phenomenal care!
