Heather and her team are the best. I’ve been going there for months now and have had an amazing experience every time.

Got my hair colored few months back and was very disappointed with the outcome. Went in to get the balayage hair style and didn’t turn out anything like it. After washing my hair, the stylist tried combing through my hair with a comb, I have very long hair and all he kept doing was ripping my hair out. I got feed up with it and said do you not have another kind of brush to use instead of ripping/​damaging my hair. He finally found a different one, but I couldn’t believe he didn’t think anything of it when I myself would never brush and keep ripping/​damaging my hair out like he did. Most the time when you go to a salon they treat your hair better than you would. I wouldn’t recommend this place as I didn’t feel they were confident in what they were doing, and the pricing is no more than if you went to a 4 or 5 star hair salon. On top of that after getting home I had hair color all over inside the top of my ear that was not washed off or even noticed.

I found Spark on Unilocal and I’m so glad I chose it. My friend and I had done terrible box dyes and needed fixes so we went in and made appointments for the next day. Heather, the owner worked with me to figure out what would be best for what I had done for the color and guided me in my cut. Everyone was lovely from the receptionist to Heather and the student she was teaching. She walked me through the steps and asked me when she wanted to make a change to the cut. I would recommend this salon to anyone. They are all dedicated professionals who did an amazing job. I went in for a patch up and came out looking better than I ever could have hoped. Make sure you ask for Heather’s signature blow out as well because your hair will never look or feel so good.

I’ve been a loyal client of (owner) Heather for years and LOVE the new salon. The staff is professional and friendly. They never fail to make you feel welcome, and the coffee, tea and cucumber water offered is always appreciated. Heather is truly passionate about what she does, and is always seeking additional learning and growth opportunities. She enjoys teaching and growing her stylists as well. You know you are always getting relevant and cutting edge advice and service. I love the Balayage technique and have never once been disappointed with my hair after leaving an appointment. The staff at Spark really knows how to make you feel relaxed, appreciated, and beautiful!

This place has an amazing, trendy vibe with super friendly stylists! The chandeliers are gorgeous!
Chloe is phenomenal! My low maintenance cut is so cute and has me feeling like a model. She also does a wonderful job with brow waxing, turning my caterpillars into beautifully shaped eyebrows.
I highly recommend checking out Spark Salon. Call ahead for an appointment as they tend to book out a couple of weeks. Worth it!

I never usually review on Unilocal,I’m just an avid reader of reviews, but I feel it is necessary to share with everyone what a wonderful experience I had at Spark Salon.
I am a low maintenance girl and want my color to look natural and last as long as it can. My stylist recommended Balayage for me. It was the most beautiful color I’ve ever had. The salon was such a warm inviting environment and I enjoyed the relaxing shampoo experience. I plan to be back every time I’m in town visiting family for future hair services.

Decided to try a new salon and boy was that a mistake…
Got my hair colored — which turned out fine… Also got it cut, which was a disaster. The right and left sides were two inches off! The stylist curled my hair so I didn’t notice while at the salon…
They charged me $ 130 for a cut and color (one of the highest I’ve paid — willow salon, which was awarded «best of» in MG charges me around $ 100 for cut/​color). What they didn’t tell me was the stylist I had booked with was a «new» stylist…
Like any customer, I called salon and never got a call back… Then I emailed the company and still never got a response… Finally I looked up the owner on facebook (Heather). I told her the situation and she told me that the stylist I had was newer… She also told me that I could come back in for a correction haircut (mind you, this was after weeks and weeks of no responses, so I had already had my hair corrected; not to mention the fact that I DID NOT want to go back as they had screwed up my hair the first time). I told her I had already corrected my hair and asked her if she would just refund my money (for the haircut ONLY) and she said absolutely not. She continued to argue with me… Blah blah blah…
The owner was less than accommodating (especially for being a brand new salon) and she definitely made my experience a terrible one.
Will NOT be going back.

I can’t say enough great things about Spark Salon! It’s so chic, inviting, and comfortable… and Heather, my stylist, is obviously very passionate and knowledgable, because it has been proven in her exceptional work — especially on my balayage color. I’m a new mom who works full-​time, and Heather has me looking and feeling great. (And she’s one of the nicest people to boot!) The cost for her terrific services are reasonable, which I appreciate. I’m over-​the-​moon to have visited Spark Salon; my trusted, go-​to place for terrific hair that makes me happy!
