A coworker recommended Gabor’s. He brought me a menu to showcase the recession friendly prices. It is a short distance from Independence and a great lunch option for people working in the area. There are not many Mom and Pop sub shops around Independence. This is a great deli alternative to Subway, DiBellas, Jimmy Johns, Panera or Potbelly. The sandwiches are great and the staff is friendly. Support a nice local business and avoid the corporate crowds of Rockside Road. Most subs are only $ 4.

Prior to just recently being bought, this was one of the best places in the neighborhood. The staff we nice and genuine. Some of them are still there and I think that is the one of the reason’s I still go. The fresh deli is still kicking hard and delicious. Stop in for one of their subs… you will not regret it. The Italian is my fav! The down side to the new owners is they have jacked all the prices up.

Love Gabors!!!
Used to live down the block and would hit this place up for the ham salad and their sammiches are THE BEST! Added plus is the people that work here are awsome too!
Now I work around the corner and like to stop in for what ever looks good for lunch!

The best sub sandwiches ever. If I’m in a hurry to get to school from work I always stop at gabor’s deli.
For around $ 7 I get a Sub sandwich called a tongue teaser it come on a hogie and comes with maple ham, cajun turkey, roast beef, hard salami and I substitute hot proper cheese for Swiss cheese with miracle whip, tomato, lettuce and onions. OMG is it good. Plus u get a little side of potato salad or mac salad.
Their deli is very very good and fresh. Got me totally hooked.
