Aldi is a good place to buy no name items. However, the quality is a hit or miss with some of the items. You have to try them to be sure that you are getting what you think you are getting. The pricing is good, but, beware, you are getting what you pay for. My one major issue is the quality of the produce that you get at Aldi. I have, on occasion, purchased some of the most horrible potatoes that I have ever purchased. Deep eyes, bruises, and they had no shelf life whatsoever. Onions are another issue, the shelf life is minimal at best, they are leathery with paper throughout, and of smaller size then comparable items at other stores. I will never purchase their avocados again; they were almost rotting on the inside the two times that I purchased them(Separated by more then a year between purchases). Selection is limited(You are not walking ti Wegmans or Shoprite here, OK?) You will have to make choices as to what you wish to by here and what you will pay many times more for at other stores. Their frozen products and packaged products are well suited for someone on a tight budget, but, again, try before committing to a large purchase. Customer service is great, the employees really do take care of you, even if there is only one or two cashiers checking out 20+ customers.(Again, for the price you pay, this is a minor inconvenience). They do not accept major credit cards, only cash and debit cards. If they improved the quality of their produce, I would be much happier with their overall rating. (I will not get int o how they crushed Bottom Dollar and removed the best grocery in the Cherry Hill/Maple Shade area out of simple greed for a market share…)
