BAD SERVICE! if you can’t give a good service because you are out of staff then just hire more people. The only thing that I really enjoyed was the singer.

Went in here with a group of ladies. Stayed late and they were fine with it. We had food and drinks and laughed maybe a little too loud! Great service.

This place is great. Wonderful casual atmosphere, good food and exceptional wine. My wife and i will definitely be coming back. Do yourself a favor and experience DaVine.

We visit Davine on a regular basis… but Saturday night we questioned if they were closing their business.
The restaurant was empty, the patio half full. 2 Less than attentive servers.
The chalkboard said «Soup and Key Lime Cheesecake» among other items. They also had a list of Specials on each table. My husband asked if they has soup. Server simply said «No» —? He asked for a sandwich listed on the Specials menu… to which she replied «ohhh, I think we’re out of that one».
We ordered a white wine, none were chilled. She asked if we wanted ice? Not in my wine, I would like it chilled. She put it in the freezer for 5 minutes, I believe she was more concerned with her husband and 2 kids playing at the bar.
We asked for water, had to ask a second time. When I asked for dessert the server that had been helping us said «I’m off duty» — did not offer to let the other person know, just walked away. The other server was nowhere to be found. 10 Minutes later we ordered dessert… I ordered the key lime cheesecake…(on the board) 10 minutes later she comes back and asks if I would like raspberry cheesecake instead? No, not really.
Again, we come in all the time and it’s a very laid back atmosphere but we love it.
Saturday night was just plain lazy service. Neither server was interested in working. I usually don’t write bad reviews but this night was horrible service, and nothing on the menu was available. We were embarrassed to have suggested it to our friends.

I brought my grandparents to Davine after reading the reviews. Although this review is based on a one time experience, I can say for the first time that Unilocalers led me astray!
We walked in during a hot Tuesday evening. There were two customers eating outside. We decided to go inside since the establishment is directly facing west, so the sun was in our eyes as the sunset.
The woman who greeted us seemed confused as to why we were inside. My grandmother isn’t doing so well, so I wanted her to be in a comfortable climate; not too hot. As the lady seated us, she brought us one menu and asked us what we wanted to eat… She literally just handed us the menu. I felt embarrassed because from the get go, she made us feel unwelcome.
We ended up with a cheese plate, jambalaya, a Cuban panini and a French dip. The cheese plate was pretty good, but not enough bread for three people.
My grandfather enjoyed the house red wine, but he didn’t think it was worth the amount he paid for the glass when he got the bill.
Overall, sure, this place has a good cheese plate for two people and they have a few TV’s to watch the ball game, but I won’t be in again. The paninis I could have made myself and the experience was dull. The waitress/​cook/​hostess woman seemed to be there to visit with her friends more than anything else.
***TIP: Davine is located at the farthest south end of the small shopping mall.***

What a fun an relaxing place to enjoy and glass or wine or beer! They have a great selection of beers and wine. Food is delicious as well!

I have only been in once so far, service was great and friendly, beer selection was great and food was awesome! I have been to other coffee and wine cafes in the area and this is the best by far:) price was also good :)

Great place! I like trying new beers and ciders and my boyfriend likes trying out new wines! Haven’t had to many food items but the sandwiches we got last time were delish!

I have been here a couple of times, most recently at a private event for my Aunts 50^th birthday party. The staff worked so hard to make sure everyone was taken care of. The available wines were great. The shop itself is really cute and decorated well. It’s a great place to catch up with a friend or have a party.

It was an excellent experience! My friend and I had a girls spa day. We went to get our mani and pedi nearby. We then walked over to this restaurant for some pannini and wine. It was a great ambiance and great service! The Italian pannini was delicious, aswell! We will definitely be back.

A great (!) little place in Maple Valley, where places like this are hard to come by. Places like this meaning places where the food is high-​quality, well-​made and leaves your tastebuds satisfied. I love the outdoor seating area, and haven’t sat anywhere else during my last two visits. Delicious quiche and salads. Enjoy!

I just went to Davine with my sister to get some work done while my sister studied (free wi-​fi). LOVE this place! Great ambiance. Great coffee. Great owner! He’s super nice and patient. Definitely coming back and recommending friends and family. :)

This is my favorite wine bar. The owners are local and very friendly. The wine selection is nice and then ensure that they have quality wines at fair prices so clients are pleased. I am a personal fan of Dunham Cab and Owen Roe Sharecroppers. I also like their Cab wine flight.
My husband and I love to come here on our date nights and play a game while sipping wine and sharing a cheese platter.

I was visiting from CA. I wanted a cool quiet joint to get some peace from my trip. This place is a great JOINT for wine and coffee. Incredible wine choices and reasonable. They had some great fire units outside to enjoy while enjoying the night air. Lovely couple own this place. It was simple and enjoyable. I would go there any time and wish I had a place like this in my town. I will go there anytime I visit again.

I’ve been there a handful of times now, twice with groups and twice by myself. It was never at max capacity and there were always tables available (except for the patio when sunny).
Service is SLOW and sometimes you’ll feel invisible (especially if you’re alone and not someone they recognize). It’s very obvious when someone comes in who they know, because they’ll spend a fair amount of time just chatting while ignoring service at the rest of the tables. They don’t seem to notice empty wine glasses, and it is near-​impossible to catch their eye when you need something. You have to just call out or give a big wave. Plus, it was hard for me to tell who works there and who doesn’t.
The wine selection is OK, I always find something I like but sometimes their descriptions or guidance is lacking. The food is only OK; I’ve had a yummy baked brie, fairly good panini and a very salty selection of dips that tasted pre-​packaged or made from a mix, not fresh. I wasn’t really asked if I liked any of it though. And you’d think that quick-​prep food like this would come out fairly quickly, but it always takes about 15 min.
The owners seem nice enough and I’d really like to support small local businesses, but I also want to enjoy my time and be happy about spending money there. So it’s not my first choice in the MV area.

A nice selection of food, with a killer meat & cheese plate! a very very nice bottled beer selection and a great selection of wine to choose from. Nice way to relax next to the fireplace or even ask the server to turn on the sports game if you want something to watch… I will definitely be back

Really wanted to like this place. Probably would have, until we saw the diva woman who I assume was the manager berating one of her employees within earshot of our table. Ick. This is not the sort of atmosphere you want to support with your hard earned cash. We love wine and live nearby but that sort of shit is not exactly relaxing.
Maybe we’ll check back in a few months to see if the diva is gone…
