Kinder Swimmer not only taught our children to swim, they are local rock stars. I was worried about my kids abilities to swim as we live on the water, but I can tell you honestly I no longer worry at all! They spent a couple years in classes on and off working on perfecting their swim technique. To add to the service Kinder Swimmer provides they also donate and participate in fund raisers of all kinds. These women are strong leaders in our community and I praise and support their business and so should you.

My son’s have been going to Kinderswimmer Renton for two years now. TUITIONANDCOMPANYPOLICIES Our first year, it was only my older son who had lessons. We had to leave because they had staffing problems, and cancelled several classes on short notice. What angered me, was that on one occasion I needed to reschedule a class and they said.“sorry, we have a no make-up policy.” Rather unfair since they were cancelling left and right because an instructor injured her arm. We returned to Kinderswimmer for summer lessons. The cost for both my sons, lessons twice a week came to $ 347 dollars a month. With repeat customers, they should have a reduced tuition rate for the second child. Many companies do that because paying full price for both kids is just too expensive. It is sad because they would have more parents enroll both or all their children if they had more flexibility in their pricing for additional children. INSTRUCTION The quality of instruction is good. I am happy with the teachers for the most part. Although there is one instructor(now working in the office due to an arm injury of some kind) who seems to really dislike her job. When I see her, I always say hello and she responds with this strange sideways smirk. She does not come off as a kind, friendly person. Other than the unfriendly lady who never smiles, and seems to have no sense of humor, all the other instructors are great. SUMMARY If you need swim lessons for more than one child, go to the local Lindberg or Hazen swimming pools. The fee’s are far more reasonable.(About $ 7 per lesson when you buy package of ten or more lessons) As opposed to Kinderswimmer that is $ 20 per lesson. That difference is huge, and when you have more than one child it really adds up.

We have had great experiences at Kinder Swimmer! My daughter loves going to lessons and has learned some great skills. Can’t beat the small class size and individual training. Love the new changing room too!

This company is an utter disappointment. They put their ridiculous policies before their clients and in return have no responsibility to those clients in areas of important communication, like the loss of their swim instructor. Their main front office point of contact is rude and should probably consider a job where interaction with other people is not necessary. They have lost me as a client forever and I will do whatever I can to take as many people with me. I will be sure to never recommend them and will steer any potential clients as far away from them as possible. They have definitely messed with the wrong lady on this one. Sorry, Kinder Swimmer but in the long run, when you put policy before people, your business will suffer for it.

We’ve had two really great instructors for my kids over the past years(off and on) at the Maple Valley pool that we’ve been really impressed with. My son is autistic and Bobby has been our favorite so far! He knows how to work within my son’s limits and yet push him enough so that he learns and moves forward. Tracy from quite a few years ago was wonderful too. There’s been a few subs that just didn’t know how to work with special needs, but overall, we’ve had nothing but a great experience with the instructors. I love their repetition of what’s done at each session, this routine really helps my son. It also helps the young ones to not fear the water. My daughter was almost 2 years old and was jumping off the diving board! To me, the method with floats helps the kids gain confidence! As they become more experienced swimmers they slowly use less and less floats. Some of the floats needed to be replaced, because of breaks and such, but we could work with even the broken ones, you just have to cinch them right. Not so tickled with the recent billing issues though. In September of last year there was an issue that KinderSwimmer notified us of where checks were either lost or stolen. At the time, I don’t think they really made it clear that this could be a serious concern. Today, I discovered $ 1,000 worth of charges made toward my account via checks by a Devonna Maxie that I knew nothing about. Mind you, it’s been 6 months, but I definitely feel that it was associated with the«lost» checks through KinderSwimmer. Wish KinderSwimmer would have stressed more that the checks had been stolen and that they have heard from other people that their accounts had been compromised. I’ll be paying through my bank from now on, but their billing and organizational habits need a second look. Electronic billing and statements would be plus. Now a days that kind of stuff can be done with your iPhone, for goodness sake.
