Nutty Squirrel Gelato

I haven’t been this impressed with service, food quality and cleanliness in a business in such a long time. The photo of the owners kids hanging behind the counter is so precious and hello, so awesome to see the family touch in such an awesome little town of Maple Valley. I personally think gelato is the best choice of cold ice cream like families so when my mom said it was delicious I went in to pick some up for her. Sadly they didn’t have a peanut butter chocolate mix so I got their salted peanut and their chocolate. The young women with blue hair behind the counter was so nice, so helpful, and so patient, honestly she must be rewarded!!! She signed me up for a punch card and patiently scooped from a new batch of the peanut mixture cause it was brand new and kind of cold and stiff. I loved her hair by the way. The seating options were awesome and I loved the chalk walls. No wonder this place has been voted best in the northwest twice in a row. OH and their cute macaroons seem to have some glitter to it so next time I’m getting a few of those. Needless to say I’ll be a life long customer !!! Thanks for the awesome experience and next time I’m getting three pints ‚-) thank you!!!

Aaaaaamazing. Authentic gelato full of flavored. Lavender, chai, black licorice, saffron rice. They change their flavored regularly. Great customer service and of course gelato.

So, I tried this place on the humor of the name alone…“Nutty Squirrel”. It was so quirky I had to give it a try.
Wow! Am I glad I did. Gelato+high-quality ingredients+excellent service every time=major win. I’ve taken on a challenge of trying something new every time we’re in, and each flavor has been delicious.
Treks to Nutty Squirrel are a must! Who cares if it’s raining cats n dogs, if the gelato is amazing!

I love gelato hands down ! so when I found out the do dairy free I immediately went and checked them out! every week I feel like its different flavors and the best was when cinco de mayo was going on they did a habanero mango, it was delicious. always great gelato !

Delicious, high-​quality gelato and sorbetto made from natural ingredients right in the store. Does the frozen yogurt place make their product daily in store? Well it comes out of a machine, so… No. They don’t. It’s made in a factory somewhere where it’s heavily processed, frozen, and then trucked in. Pass on the fro-​yo and head on over to Nutty Squirrel Gelato. This place is the real deal, with as many free tastes as you want and super friendly service, and wait until you taste the flavor of fresh-​made gelato! It’s heavenly!

Something different and great family treat. Good prices and variety. Worth stopping in after pizza next door. The kids love the place.

Brother picked up some Gelato before coming over. The only gelato I’ve ever had were from the grocery store. Let me tell you, these were so creamy and a mouthful of sweet goodness! I can’t wait to go there myself and try different flavors.

I absolutely LOVE this place. I come here at least once a week! Rain or shine, gelato is good any time of the day. My two favorite flavors are strawberry and mango. But my most favorite flavor is hazelnut. Omg heaven in my mouth!!! I always try to try new flavors but I always end up getting the same one, haha
Every time I come in, the staff are always so friendly and helpful. The owner is also incredibly nice as well. The place is always clean!
I’m glad I finally found a gelato place close to home vs driving to Seattle just to get my gelato fix!

What I love about this place is that EVERYONE that works there is smiling and happy. I also love that when I tell them that the lemon is the only one that my husband (who has severe nut allergies) can eat, they not only go get a spoon that hasn’t been in another flavor, they also go to the back and get some lemon if it’s not in the current display cabinet. I swear I’m there at least twice a week and this is why :)

So after a really bad dinner we stopped at this place… I mean why not… the Squirrel is my spirit animal. He didnt fail me now. This was great. The service was good and everything we tried was fantastic. If you go and like spicey… try the chili chocolate… but get a small. I love spicey but the spice really builds up… and then you need another to cool down. I had the tiramisu. Rich, full flavors… we will definitely go back.

I love coming here! I bring friends here with me every time I visit. The variety of the gelato flavors are tasty and the service is always friendly! The cones are always fresh & crispy. Can’t go wrong coming here.

They always present the costumers with new flavors, staff is super friendly, and they welcome you to try the flavors. They also have flavors in containers to take home — this is just awesome!!!

Nice service, I didn’t get glares for wanting to sample before I buy (I hate that), and she was suggesting some flavors. I went for te salted caramel and BOY was it good!!! Mmm gelato reminds me of my days in the Cancun mall, and this flavor didn’t decieve or let me down. My dad had a peanut butter flavor ad it was very good also. I’m loving this place and now I really want to get a Nutty Squrriel tshirt :)

I tried their caramel latte and it was very good! Love the environment! love the customer service:) their gelato is less sweet than all the ice cream shops I’ve tried at Seattle (should be a good thing! less sugar? Healthier?) I will be back to try other flavored for sure!

I’ve heard this place is amazing and well, it’s totally amazing. I dropped in today after a trip to freddies and got some 12^th Man and some Pumpkin Pie. They had a promotion of the pints so I got a pint of each. The husband was thrilled when I got home with the yummies.
Service was fantastic. Prices are good. I love that you could get a ½ scoop for a few bucks– so we could make good decisions– if we had the will power.
I’ll be back I do wonder what the nutrition facts on this are, I presume bad… it tastes like it should be bad for you. Bad in a good way :)
