I’ve boarded my horse here since 2007 and I love Frankie and everyone at the barn. Flash goes out with his best friend Lance to turnout several days a week, and the stalls are always clean and fresh. It’s a community place where everyone knows each other, and a lot of kids and adults take lessons. The indoor arena isn’t huge, but it’s really nice having for night riding and the Winter. The outdoor arena is awesome, and it’s honestly gorgeous being outside with the countryside and cows in the adjacent pastures. The mountains surround the barn, as well as the countryside, and it’s a beautiful place to ride. The Winters do get wet and the pastures aren’t dry, but I’ll tell you it’s a lot better than many pasture conditions in Western Washington. Plus the horses have shelter with the trees. I have two pygmy goats that I also keep at the barn, and Frankie takes care of them and makes sure they are happy and healthy. Also, I feel like my animals are extremely well-watched over, since Frankie lives on the property and is checking on everyone several times per day. If you are looking for a jumping barn, there are jumps, but it’s much easier in the Summer, since the indoor arena isn’t huge to put up a course. The outdoor arena though you have room for a set up if you’d like. Overall, the barn is my family and Frankie is wonderful. Whether you are seeking just to take lessons and be around horses(and pygmy goats + barn cats), or you are looking to board, this is an A+ place to go. PS, the cats like treats… especially the orange one. :)

I’ve been riding and boarding here for going on 6 years now, and even between moves and life changes, I have always kept my boy here because I trust Frankie, the barn owner, unequivocally. Safety for people and horses is always prioritized, and her lessons are backed by 40 years experience in many facets of the horse world, from trails to nationals level breed shows. This experience shows in everything she does. Frankie has helped me become a patient, well-rounded horsewoman. My horse is given excellent care, Frankie is responsive to my needs as a boarder and a student, and all of the people that board here are very nice and down-to-earth. There is no drama and everyone puts their horses first. The pastures for turnout are large, there’s an outdoor arena and an indoor(which is small, but lighted and big enough for three to ride comfortably). Trails are just down the street, and the property is surrounded by farms, so there is minimal traffic. The barn staff member has been there since before I have, and is a knowledgeable and experienced horseman. You may bring your own farrier, or get on the barn schedule for hooves, shots, teeth, and worming. There is a locked tack room, spacious cross ties, and outdoor cross ties for baths. Frankie provides great quality hay(and she knows a lot about hay!) and grain, you can add supplements, or use your own grain, etc. I’ve never had to worry about my horse being mistreated or about getting taken advantage of. I’ll keep my horse at Frankie’s for as long as she’s in business.
