I thought I’d try out Panera for breakfast today. I usually go to caribou, but they were right next to each other so I thought I’d try something different! I will not be coming back. The Sandwich was overpriced, sloppy, looked gross, cheese was not melted, and I only got 1 small slice of avocado that had black spots on it. The girl next to me had the same sandwich and seemed to be eyeing it up about the same. She wasn’t happy, And was talking about meeting at Starbucks next time instead. For the same price caribou a sandwiches are consistently good, or I could get a handmade sandwich at a diner!

I have eaten at Panera in Maplewood, MN countless times over the years and have always been satisfied. Today I ordered a medium power chicken hummus salad to go. When I got home and opened the box I was very surprised to find a very tiny amount of salad. Last week I had the same salad and ate it was just fine. I was extremely disappointed.

Panera is everything. I just figured out something. The prefix PAN– means ALL, WHOLE, ALL-INCLUSIVE. That is exactly what Panera is! It’s open all day, has everything, and is always hoppin with people. Great for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I’m just not that interested in it’s food, although the Mediterranean veggie sammich is okay. There is plenty of space in this Panera to suit the large lunch crowds.

Love their French Onion Soup and Fuji Apple Chicken Salad. It is a bit expensive, but a pleasant place to grab a cup of coffee or meet a client.

I have no complaints about the bakery and food at Panera. It’s good, not great, but the food is always good. I’ll grab a bagel and a coffee their on my way to work from time to time. However, I do have a couple issues with Panera. 1) it is way over-priced. 2) I hate how they try and pass things off as healthy that are not. Just because it’s a salad doesn’t mean its good for you, and by the way that salad will be $ 11. Thanks but no thanks.

We’ve grabbed a meal here a few times while out running errands and I don’t really see a difference between here and any other Panera around. Each time the service has been fast but we have had issues finding a table. We’re big fans of the You Pick 2 so we always shake it up a little to try different things. Last time we were there, we got our food to go and took it home. Hubs was worried that ordering to go meant smaller portions, but it was fine. What happened to the pickle they used to pack with each sandwich?

I’m addicted to the Fuji Apple Chicken Salad and a smoothie. The staff at the Maplewood location are very nice and friendly. The Napa Almond Chicken sandwich on Tomato Basil bread is a favorite.

Panera is a slightly expensive but good tasting corporate bakery, which can’t compare to some other bakeries in the cities, but does a pretty decent job trying. Get a Panera card and you can start to earn points towards things like free drinks — which is what happened when I went there with a friend. During lunch time tables can be hard to come by but this Panera isn’t as bad as others, in regards to finding seating. Their food is flavorful, tasty and fresh. I got a carrot muffin, which was good, but practically carrot cake in muffin form. It wasn’t spectacular, but I sure didn’t have any problems snarfing it down. Their Greek salads are also very enjoyable.

I had a Greek Salad with a Vegetable sandwich. Both were really good. I arrived at 12:30PM, they were quite busy but I did not stand in line very long. The service at he counter was very friendly and efficient.

Terrible. The manager john acts like a young immature child and the employees seem to come and go like fashion trends. Honestly I don’t think there is a worker there that has worked over a couple months. Dirty tables, bathroom and language from managers and shift supervisors riddles the place.
