I stop by here whenever I’m hungry from work (Short Hills Mall) or when I don’t want to overpay for food since it’s within walking distance from home. I can’t complain really about anything but sometimes the people who come in are the worst which has nothing to do with the staff at times. There’s times when the staff made me feel incredibly uncomfortable but when I want my sandwich nothing bothers me. Nothing exciting, fairly decent.

Well I’ve been to this Quick Chek in Maplewood for the past few years. To get some iced coffee, & also the sub sandwhiches. But this 3 day weekend I went there for $ 1.99 6-​inch sub sandwhiches. But tell you the turth it kinds ok?

Sandwiches are decent as far as Quick Chek sandwiches go. Staff is always very nice. My only problem is with the people who shop here. every other time I go I get people begging for money. Today, the two people on line in front of me were overly rude to the cashier for no reason.
One took it out personally on the cashier because his breakfast sandwich didn’t ring up to the correct price. The cashier politely fixed the mistake and asked the customer to calm down. Customer in a fighting stance: «I get worked up over this stuff…» The next customer bought a 99 cent fountain drink and complained when the cashier closed his drawer before handing her the receipt. Really lady? You need a receipt for a fountain soda you paid cash for? The reason he closed his drawer first was because she had a second receipt for a survey request to win $ 20 that he politely explained to her.
There are often people hanging out by the door begging for money. The last time I was there a guy approached me in the parking lot and asked me for «32.» I said I didn’t know what he meant. And he said «Yea, you know what I mean. Can I get 32?» I replied «32 what?» His response: «Thirty-​two hundred man, thirty-​two hundred dollars!» I told him I didn’t have it and he replied «Oh man, you know you got $ 3200 man, you know it. That’s ok though, I got my own money. I don’t need yours» and then he walked away. Awkward. Every trip here is an experience.

Tasty sandwiches, great coffee selection and $ 1 slurpees .they also have some nice $ 3 specials.
