Occasionally I visit maquoketa, due to it being my hometown. This bar is LAME, quite boring actually. Their biggest entertainment is karaōke that is heavily country music themed. If you are not dead yet, and looking for something a bit livelier, I would recommend you go elsewhere.

I watch the show, «Bar Rescue,» a lot, and John Taffer would have a complete cow on a few things. I have thoughts about calling them. Yes, they keep the place clean, but I’ll list the things. 1. Overpouring– bartenders pour way too much alcohol. They’re costing the place money. LOTS. 2. The owner sits at the bar and drinks. Don’t care who you are. You cannot run a business while you are drunk. 3. Not telling previously inebriated customers they can’t serve them, or to go home. They’ve serve my own boyfriend multiple times when he comes in sloshed. Other than that, I like PerXactly.

its a bar, its not good, its not bad, you can have fun but watch the coyote wanna be cops. the food is pretty good. nice little hang out. a little small for much of a celebration but ok over all.
