Bistro At Flat Creek Estates

Tip… The city address for this location is Marble Falls, but it is actually closer to Lago Vista. There is also a location in Marble Falls proper.
We stopped at the winery to do a wine tasting, but we had to eat first. The staff at the winery offered to call the bistro to see if there were any tables available since they really encourage reservations. They were able to fit us in. Since it was still cool enough, we were able to get a table on the veranda and enjoy the beautiful landscape. The pasta, pizza, and wine we had for lunch were tasty and satisfying. I would definitely come here with an empty stomach again.

Wow I wish we had the good experience you all had. We looked at the area and were in Marble Falls. When calling they suggested we have a reservation. So that was made and we headed to their place. We arrived and walked in, there were three people in front of us, the hostess asked if they had a reservation and the did not and she asked us the same thing, and we did, so the hostess seated the other people and then we were seated. Then we waited, and waited, then we got our drinks and ordered apps and the main course. As we kept waiting the table of 3 got their apps, and then a party of 6 got seated and their apps were coming out, The table of three got their main course, I got up and met the waitress coming out with our apps that had been sitting On the order window and were cold and you could see the cheese was congealed. We talked to owner on the way out, she gave us two bottles and we left, never to come back.
Good luck with this one but for our time wasted we will not be back. Oh and don’t bother making a reservation it does not help you to get seated.

Good food; good wine. We really liked the sausage and mushroom pizza. Views are stunning… I did take off a star because the waiter was slow. Only partially her fault because she was the only person there and trying to cover the whole room. I would still go back, just don’t be in a hurry.

This restaurant/​bistro is located on the Flat Creek Estates winery.
To start off, the location is hill country beautiful. I loved the drive going there. The exterior designs of the buildings had an Italian theme. Gorgeous!
I went with a few girlfriends for a lunch advised by our friends. Great choice. The small little bistro had an open area seating and a small patio for wine and food. Mostly tables were 2 or 4 tops. They had a wood burning oven.
Everything on the menu looked awesome. We had 2 different pizza and they were huge, meant for sharing. The salads ordered looked delicious too. They had every item on the menu matched with a wine they felt paired well. The waitress knew her wines, so she helped us out on our choices. It was such a nice relaxing experience. No feel of the city rush. Insanely beautiful scenery. We walked outside to view the hills. A few people there just ordered appetizers and relaxed with a glass of wine.
I did notice that they asked for reservations since there was such limited seating, but we came on a weekday, so it was open. I would call ahead just in case.
I would love to comeback and try other items on the menu. They even had specials made for that week or day by the chef.
This place would be great to go on a date… FYI men out there reading this.
Later you can go and do some wine tasting in another part of the winery.
Everyone was so nice and had a lot of knowledge about wines, the area, and the food.
Cannot say anything bad about this place… just beautiful and delicious foods.
