I left 2 small cushions here 4 months ago with a hefty down payment. I was told to give him 1 week! I called 3 weeks later and was given the run around and was told they’d be ready the next week. I called again, and got the same story. Now, 4 months later, I have called 3 more times and they still don’t have them ready. Each time I call they apologize and tell me next week! This is poor customer service. Unreal

The quality of work is excellent!!! But we agreed on black and gray but the seats were all black. Ed said he forgot to do the gray. He told me to bring the car in on Sept 28th and it would only take a day to do the work, but it wasn’t done till 10 days later. When I came to pick up my car the top was still down with dust all in and out of the car and they were using my car for a table. I pay them to install the weather stripping and most of it was down right but some of it wasn’t glue down and did point that out to Ed and he said it doesn’t need glue, but you can see it does need glue. He didn’t charge me he full amount for the installment of the weather stripping. They wouldn’t tell me the the rear window wouldn’t go up I had to find that out myself. Also they post to fix a hole on my convertible but it wasn’t done.

I have taken quite a few things to Ed for new upholstery. He does beautiful work but about 6 months ago I took cushions for a sofa to be redone because a dry cleaner had ruined them. I took the ruined covers as well as the cushions to Ed. I told him there was no rush but 3 months later I asked if he could finish them and I had them about 10 days later. When I took them home they were about 4 inches too short for my sofa. I took them back and found out he had used the old covers and made new ones to match them and did not make covers to fit the cushions. Long story, sorry. Ed apologized and asked me to order 5 more yards of fabric and he would re do them and pay for the fabric. I ordered the fabric and took it and the receipt to Ed and he had them done about one month later. They look great and fit perfectly now. When I went back to pick up the check to pay for the fabric he complained there was only 3 ¼ yards of fabric. He had the receipt which clearly stated 5 yards and most of it had been used. Then he said he was getting screwed on the deal(he offered) and then he told me never to come back. He does not want to see me in there again. So, even though I think he does fine work he is a bully and an ass. There is no reason someone should be treated like this. Not professional even though I had done what he asked and had been very patient.

I took my boat in to have him fix my engine hatch/sun deck because the wood had rotted out. The price was so reasonable that I decided to have him fix my bow seats that had tears in them around the ribbing. I went to pick it up today and he had not only fixed the hatch but also reattached the hydraulic shocks and re-stitched a portion of the sun deck. He also completely replaced a portion of the seat instead of piecing it together. I would not hesitate to take anything I own to him for upholstery work.
