I have driven through Marble Falls many times, but never realized the variety of activities to do in the area. Immediately after driving over the new bridge I noticed the new triangle brick building housing the visitor center, I turned in and parked in the small parking lot. The building is three stories tall and is open until 4pm. I was immediately greeted by some very friendly volunteers, whose love for the area glowed. The visitor center is clean, modern, and bright, and houses a wealth of information about the local area. The volunteers quickly stacked my arms with pamphlets and magazines, to the point they provided me with a bag to carry it all in. I had no idea that Marble Falls has an annual sculpture contest in October, and then for the year displays the pieces along the historic old downtown main street. I loved walking along the quiet idyllic downtown street to view the pieces of art.
