This restaurant is closed. They are re-routing the road next to it and will be tearing down the building. Don’t know if it’s going to be reopened elsewhere

They are very good at what they do. This place is old school taco bell before they lost their way, sold their soul, went someplace unpleasant where souls are tormented for eternity, and became a corporate machine. Taco Bell pre-1990s was actually good like Taco Casa. Taco Casa is old Taco Bell on steroids(those prescribed by an MD in good standing of course). Taco Casa is very basic in its’ approach. They fry their shells in house in peanut oil. They grill their meat fresh in-house(taco bell boils their meat in pre packaged frozen bags). Taco Casa shreds their cheddar cheese and slices veggies in-house as needed. Taco Bell serves nothing that is in-house freshly prepared, which is evident in their quality from their stale taco shells to their greasy taco beef. If you love taco bell, than Taco Casa is a whole new higher league. Too bad the closest location to Houston is in Bryan, TX, but hey, gas is under $ 2 a gallon, so the short haul to Bryan is economically feasible and very much worth the trip. Hopefully. someday TC will move in to Houston. Here, they will find success. As far as fast food Tex-Mex is concerned, Taco Casa reins absolute supreme. If I could award 6-star, I would and they deserve it. I drive 120 miles round trip just to have the privilege of enjoying their food. They are that good. I hope as they grow and find success that they remember the things they did along the way that helped them to succeed i.e. never cutting corner(taco hell — I’m looking in your direction…)

First of all we live nowhere bear a Taco Casa… so when we travel we try to stop here. We knew we cutting it close on the time so when we pulled up at 8:59 and the guy says ill be right with you how excited we were! But no they left us hanging there and didn’t return we even pulled around and none of the workers would look at us. If you were closed up why not just say so. How rude.

This might be the fast food restaurant with the most generic décor I’ve ever been to. A film set haphazardly put together as an afterthought setting devised to trudge through a plot for a tv show is what comes to mind. Think Krusty Burger in The Simpsons. The restaurant has a striking resemblance to the Gustavo Fring owned fast food restaurant, Los Pollo Hermanos, from the show Breaking Bad. Like the décor, the food is a generic version of Mexican food.

I come here about 2 to 3 times a week for lunch since its quick, easy, and tastes so much better then any other taco fast food joint. They actually use real beef not dog food like Taco Bell. I know the colors of the building make it look kinda sketchy and tacky looking, but its real clean, employees are nice, and food is amazing. If you have never eaten here I definitely recommend you to give it a try, you wont be disappointed.

I have to admit — I was skeptical the 1st time I visited Taco Casa, due to the 1970’s color scheme & outdated décor. Little did I know that I would soon be hooked on this terrific taco joint! I frequent Taco Casa at least once a week on my lunch break & have yet to be unimpressed. The food is always tasty & the service is always friendly. Taco Casa stays pretty busy, however it doesn’t seem to effect the quality of food or service. Drive-thru & dine-in service is pretty speedy. The food prices are avg & definitely worth every dime! The only suggestion I have for TC is PALEEZE invest in a paper towel dispenser for the bathroom. They currently have an automatic hand dryer, however I don’t want to grab a germy door handle after i just washed my hands — especially not before chowing down on my delicious taco feast!

We so love this place. The staff is always super nice and we come up there every 2 months as we visit the Horseshoe Bay resort. They remember us each time we come in and great us and asked how was our trip. We will continue to visit this place eveytime we visit Marball Falls. Love their burritos, nachos and crispy tacos. Our 2, 4 and 10 year old love them and they are super picky eaters. Beef and beans are always fresh and so are the lettuce and tomato’s. Lastly, for a fast food place the rest rooms are clean and fully stocked.

This place deserves a strong 5 for what it has to offer. I was here over the weekend. So were 4 local fire fighters, and you know they don’t eat just anywhere. There is ample street parking. The staff is awesome and quick. The premises were simple and clean. They only serve beef as the primary meat there, so be prepared. They have special hours, too. They are closed by 8 on many nights and closed on Sunday. When I was googling this place, somehow I got an error that showed that this Taco Casa was permanently closed. It is not. It is across the street from HEB if that helps. All of the pictures of food that are above the registers where you order truly mirror what you are going to get. I will also caution you that we paid with a credit card, and for whatever reason, the entire cc # printed out on our receipt so the woman was kind enough to destroy that information by really writing over it in front of us. I did not feel like it was anything bad, but for those of you that scare easily(which in this day and age, we have to sometimes) I would recommend taking cash. She explained everything though. It was totally fine. I tried the Chilada. It was a flour tortilla with beans and beef mixed with a hint of sour cream, and then an enchilada sauce covered it as well as AMPLE, delicious shredded cheese and finally, sliced black olives. It was great. We also tried bits of the carefully prepared, terrific nachos. The tortilla chips were light, crispy, and fresh. They were assembled to perfection with nacho cheese throughout the order. There were no «dry» chips. My husband loves their large tacos and loves their red sauce. He says it reminds him of competitors but is much better. They have tostadas and burritos. I did not see a dessert menu, but that is cool. They had a large sweet tea for under a dollar that was fresh and correctly sweetened. The beef itself was light and not overly seasoned. It tasted fresh and while the nachos were a bit on the salty side(which is to be expected when there are several ingredients within them), everything else was properly balanced. The portion sizes are ample. The price is great for the amount of food you get. I like how the décor looks a bit retro because it is just orange and yellow signage with black letters but sometimes simple is good. I really like that while they only offer beef, they do not convolute their menu with too many choices because what they do, they do very well. It is best that it is very specific because they know they are producing a good product. If you are a vegetarian, you can of course opt for the bean burrito or something of the like. If you are ever around the beautiful city that is Marble Falls, you should check this out.

I couldn’t disagree more with the above review. Some of the Best Bean Burritos I’ve ever had !! The Super Burrito slams with beef, sour cream, cheese, beans, lettuce, tomatoes, black olives, and mild or hot sauce. Not to mention, some of the best sweet tea in town.

stay awayyy from this place. the food is reminiscent of school-cafeteria mexican food. same bland, super greasy 50⁄50 meat sauce on different media(taco shell, tortilla, large tortilla, taco salad bowl, etc…). everything is served with iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, beans, and cheap fake cheese. i would never encourage anyone to eat at taco bell, but if you’re headed here, your money would be better spent at taco bell next door. seriously, i don’t know how this place stays in business.
