Hubs and I came for brunch on a busy Sunday afternoon. Didn’t have a reservation but always have impeccable timing so we were seated right away. I don’t recommend the Bloody Mary(it was a little on the sweet side and not spicy enough for my taste but you be the judge). Coffee was on point. Service was prompt and friendly. We had our fat-kid hats on that morning so we started with the beignets and I’ve been dreaming of them ever since. I had the mushroom omelette, he had the duck croquet madame — both heaven. The duck is a big meal but it was marvelous and you could easily share if you so desired. I look forward to coming back for dinner in the near future.

Have been here twice with another couple, so that’s 8 different meals we’ve tried, all good. The oysters are always fantastic. Everything we ordered from line-caught cod to mushroom app to various pasta dishes was terrific. Excellent non-invasive and prompt service as well. Great spot!

Had double appetizer for dinner; The escargot and French onion soup. Both delicious and well prepared as ordered. Wife and daughter ordered steak frites. The server was attentive and gracious, checking on us throughout the evening. The drinks were served as requested and were generously portioned. The evening was delightful spent with daughter and wife. The atmosphere was peaceful however, I asked that the background music be turned down. 4−½ stars.

Really good brunch! Had the Duck Confit Croque Madame, and my wife had Eggs Benedict. The eggs were perfect, which is where I think these meals usually go bad.

Food was great, parking was easy, and I got brunch without needing a reservation. The only reason this is four stars is because the service was a bit slow. We ordered, ate, and finished our appetizers before the server came back to take our entrée order, and then generally disappeared. There were a few times where we found ourselves trying to flag her/anyone for more water, mimosas, etc.

Unbelievable place, my best experience for the past year! I had oysters and skate wing special, my friends had couple apps and mushroom pasta… everything was excellent! The service was great, I wish if this restaurant was in Boston instead Marblehead!

Had a terrific brunch here recently. Was referred by friends who frequently dine here. Menu was creative and food was executed to perfection. Service was very polished for being outside of the city. Will be back soon for dinner!

Phenomenal food, great atmosphere, and wonderful service. I definitely recommend a trip to 5 Corners. My wife had the beef short rib and I the skate — both were delicious. The short rib in particular was amazing — melted right off the bone. I also recommend the tuna tartar and the flourless chocolate cake. We will definitely be back!

Five Corners Kitchen was a delightful experience for two families — one with an infant in a car seat/stroller and one with a hungry toddler who has an excellent palate. Service was great — server was attentive but not obtrusive and very kid friendly. Our waiter had good suggestions and entertained us and our questions while we waited for our friends. Meals were delicious and very satisfying. They did not feel too heavy or greasy. The menu offered unique twists on traditional brunch. Our table had the crepes, quiche, arepas, french toast, biscuits and gravy, yogurt and beignets. Personally, the quiche for me, was one of the best I’ve had. Really good flavors and consistency. The only thing we wouldn’t order again was the beignets. The expectation is that of New Orleans-like beignets which these were not. Perhaps call it something else or perhaps make them more fluffy-pastry like? Ambiance and décor were perfectly done with large sunny windows to boot. My last comment is an odd one. On our walk past this restaurant, the smell of garbage was slightly overwhelming. Not sure which establishment is to blame(there’s another next door) but did not smell garbage near any other restaurant on our walks around town. Perhaps that’s because it’s on a corner? Don’t know. Overall, I’d certainly come here again and would be excited about it!

Update: I’ve been here for brunch, and it was fantastic. And the last time I went for dinner, there were many more veggie options. Hurrah!

So, I’ll preface this by first saying that judging this restaurant within Marblehead itself, I’d give this like 10 stars since there’s not a whole lot else to choose from here. But, in comparison to other restaurants in the real world, this gets a solid 4. Food is consistently good. Good wine list. Great people watching. It truly feels like a night out. Again, hard to do in Marblehead. It can, however, work on evolving its menu — there are only so many times one can eat the same skate wing dish over the last 4 years. I also have to say that the service has gone downhill — the last couple times we went, the time in between courses was ridiculously long(like, an hour long). But, again, overall a good place.

Wow. The food here is amazing. The only reason it doesn’t get 4 stars is that it’s a little pretentious. I love eating out in Boston and surrounding areas, but my boyfriend and I didn’t feel like we belonged here, and I live in Swampscott! But food and staff were great.

Came for brunch and was not disappointed. The eggs benedict was very good, as was the homemade bacon. However, the French Toast with blueberry compote was ridiculously good. And the special beignet bites were delicious. We ate them over the course of an entire weekend. Even days later when they were starting to stale they were still awesome.

Another great night at 5CK. Great food, atmosphere and service. I have a list of favorites over the years and now adding gnocchi with rabbit to the list. Everything about this dish was amazing… The gnocchi were seared(always a plus) and very light, the rabbit was perfectly cooked, the vegetables were delicious. The dish was topped with what was probably house made ricotta that just rounded out the dish. I may have to go back for that one again before they update the menu. ;-)

On most nights I would give five stars but last night’s meal loses a star for service. As always, the food was prepared perfectly and plated beautifully. However, our wait staff made an assumption that my husband and I would be sharing dessert. She also neglected to ask if we wanted after dinner coffee. The result was that my dessert sat melting/cooling while we waited for my husband’s dessert and coffee. Also, please don’t assume we take milk in our coffee. A bit of a disappointing end to an otherwise lovely meal.

I recently visited here with a coworker from getting a recommendation from a patient because the oysters were only a dollar from 5 to 6PM. When we arrived we were seated in a quiet and pleasant area the lighting was perfect and the service was very attentive. We each got more than enough oysters to eat for year. Wine was delicious with the sweet and delicious aroma. A lot of choices for anyone’s pallet for fine dining. A little on the expensive side but totally worth it once in a blue moon. Highly recommend this place for the atmosphere it’s staff and delicious fresh food. I will be visiting here sooner than later.

Stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant while in Salem for a wedding. The coffee was exceptional, the chicken liver pâté was perfect. After eating, the chef checked in with us and we ended up discussing cured meats for the better part of an hour. He is a smoked meat über dork and it really shows up in incredible quality of his charcuterie. I wish we had more time to eat more things on this menu. Thank you Chef Barry for one of the best brunches we’ve had in years.

The tuna tartar is phenomenal. I mean hands down it is the reason to visit this place. Everything on the plate is paired so well– the avocado mouse, crisps and salad… A nice combination of flavors and textures. I was really disappointed to learn that the woman next to me got the last piece of salmon so I substituted the bass and I shouldn’t have. It just didn’t pair well with the things on the plate. I didn’t care for the chickpea cucumber salad that the fish came on –it was very bland. I did however, enjoy a few bites of the other dishes my family had ordered. The chicken was surprisingly tender and flavorful and my uncle enjoyed his steak. The pistachio gelato had a very nice flavor with a slight hint of almond. Beautiful atmosphere. Perfect place for a date.

It shocks me that the most common thing throughout the reviews is the poor quality of the service and yet it seems to continue being unaddressed. We also were less than impressed with the service and felt dismissed, unimportant, and almost an annoyance even though it was a Tuesday night and not nearly crowded enough to be considered busy. The food was good. We got the cheese and meat plate to start. It was OK. Not worth how much they charge though the meats were tasty. My husband got the homemade pasta with smoked beef tongue and I got the scallops. Both were tasty though redundant with their flavoring which got boring after a while. Again, tasty but not really worth the price. Dessert was also OK. We got the lemon tart to split and portion size was good but it tasted more like a store bought lemon pie. Their wine by the glass Bordeaux was actually quite good and worth the 9 $ pour but really they should have more options in that price range. Atmosphere OK, really cool lighting but tables way too close together. Overall, good place but probably won’t return or encourage friends to go.

Birthday dinner for three on a Sunday nite at 7:15. Plenty of street/local lot parking. Very nice ambiance, cool window views, great tables and unique lighting, easy to have a conversation. Oysters and soft shelled crab were great. Pork was overcooked, and pasta served with mussels had no broth and was dry as a bone(sent it back and they corrected this). Duck confit pasta with goose liver(whole, not pâté) was nice. Lemon tart with blueberries was the highlight of the desert tray. Ambiance — 5 Wait staff — 3 Food — 2.5.(would have been 3.5 if pasta was served correctly the first time)
