I don’t know about the promotion mentioned by the above reviewer but I have been going to GISFW for three years and I love it. It isn’t inexpensive, but for me that is a motivator to get to my appointment three times a week. One trainer works with four women; the trainers are excellent and also fun. And having an appointment is another motivator; it’s much harder to decide to go later or tomorrow when you have an appointment. I feel far stronger and fitter than I did when I started.

What a scam. I received a flyer in the mail for a $ 2796-week summer slim-down package. When I went to Get In Shape in Marblehead to ask about it, I was told they didn’t do that program in Marblehead. «That’s just something that ‘corporate’ sends out — we don’t do that here.» The cheapest program they could do was to take $ 279 as a discount off the 3-month program, which came out to $ 930 — how they thought $ 930 was a fair substitute for $ 279, I don’t know. Is this bait and switch even legal? Their address is printed clearly on the flyer — how can they say it doesn’t apply to them? Do they think they can get away with this? Writing to Better Business Bureau now…
