Don’t judge an establishment by the exterior– this unassuming establishment has wonderful marinated meats, sandwiches and pizza. $ 7 for a mouth watering sub/​wrap stuffed with quality ingredients is hard to beat.

Very good local grocery. Very convenient, which is why you pay a little more. I will add that they have a great butcher shop.
They have recently been taken under new ownership and so far things seem to be continuing well. Let’s hope they keep up what works.

You’ll find this mini-​market tucked away in Marblehead. I expect any review by a non-​resident of Marblehead to be unnecessarily harsh. You know my mantra — it’s all about CONTEXT!
This isn’t your local Stop & Shop or Market Basket and they’re not trying to be. This store attracts a local crowd that isn’t looking to drive an extra 10 – 15 minutes to Swampscott or Salem to pick up a few kitchen staples. Don’t expect rock bottom prices. In fact, expect prices that are a bit higher than most supermarkets because you’re paying for convenience. (The plaza also includes a liquor store — it’s one-​stop shopping!)
I easily found the item my wife sent me to pickup. Another Unilocaler mentioned the impressive inventory and I have to agree that they pack alot of items into this little store. There is ample parking right in front and along the street. Although it was a bit pricey, I expected that because of the location and convenience.
A great stop if you need a few items or you’re in the area and looking for a snack. Save yourself some time and stop here if you only need a few items. It may surprise you when they have everything you need!

For such a small store, they really pack in the groceries! There’s fresh cheese and meats, dressings, cereal, fresh fruit and veggies, milk… really a little bit of everything. Plenty of parking and it’s conveniently located in front of the Marblehead Transfer Station– stop by when you take your recycling.
