Great customer service. I called for a service patch and was attended by friendly personnel with the great service. No doubt.

Woof. Feels abandoned around 1988. Old, a bit dirty and lacking any legitimate food options. The parking lot is empty… So I guess a few stars for easy parking? Really everything reminds me about a K-Mart that they stopped caring about in the early 90s but still somehow drags on.

The exchange is always a good place to shop because of the prices, no tax, and a good and big selection. They are not the quickest at the checkout stand but not horrible. They have good coupons around holidays. Oh, and the BBQ outside smells amazing!

I purchased a Panasonic Home theater Audio System with cash at March Air Force Base at the Base Exchange located in Riverside CA. The box that the Home Theater Audio System came in was missing a key component(digital transmitter) that made the Sub Woofer work as it is wireless. It came with no other items except for the power cord. The box appeared to be factory sealed. I attempted to return the soundbar with the box and all items that was included in the box along with the receipt and the exchange protection plan that was also purchased with the soundbar. I spoke with a assistant manager, by the name of Jumanji who was female… She was called to the register to approve either the refund or exchange of the soundbar. It took her all of an hour to return to us to say that it was a manufacture defect and that we would have to take the soundbar home and resolve the matter with the manufacturer. Most Big Box companies that sell electronics, will attempt to exchange the product, without question — or return the money back to the consumer. This female assistant manager(Jumanji) person elected to let us leave with the defective product, and resolve it with the manufacture which I found to be a big error, as it lessens the likelihood that I would purchase another electronic from the Base Exchange. This assistant manager stated that any electronic product that is sold at the Exchange if it is a manufacturer defect, the consumer would have to deal with the Manufacturer, not the Exchange. The assistant manager stated that she would have to investigate with loss prevention to see if the box had been opened. I brought the box that was folded up with the contents outside of the box in the shopping cart. The assistant manager called the company that the sound bar was built by and she took the liberty of calling them to inform them of the missing digital transmitter. I did mention that when I received the exchanged item, I was going to open it in the parking lot to see if all parts were there. I just wonder if the other two boxes are missing the same items and if they would have to go under the same duress that I have to go through. This assistant manager walks outside into the food court with a employee from loss prevention. Previously, as I stated before, the assistant manager displayed connotations of perhaps we had stolen something, thus, the employee from loss prevention was present. I had my receipt, the exchange protection plan that I purchased, but she still inferred that perhaps we had stolen something. The employee from loss prevention wanted to argue with my daughter, as she asked for the box that the soundbar/subwoofer came in… I had to jump in front of my son in law and him as it was attempting to escalate into a fight. It was all was very embarrassing, humiliating, and denigrating. When all that she, the assistant manager had to do was replace the soundbar. Now I find that the Soundbar/Subwoofer is out-of-date, discontinued — so the part that was missing may not be in stock. I just wonder whats going to happen if the company can’t find one… $ 400.00 down the drain? I don’t think so. So beware… look up your electronics online before you buy in store… you just might have a product that is discontinued like I had and have to go through a disparaging event like I had today.

As I was use to big Exchanges this place has a lot to get by. I work around the area and spend most of my time here. Staff is very friendly and they have varieties of food outside and a few other stores inside and along the building. Easy to find new titles for games and game systems here as not to many people come here for those. They keep up to stock on everything.

This Exchange in my opinion is run down. During the summers the AC seems to always be broken so it’s stuffy and hot. Your miserable as your shopping. It’s really small and they seem to never have what your looking for or they’re sold out. When you ask when’s the next time they’ll have the items in all you get is an I don’t know and check in. The workers never seem to know anything about this store. I’ve asked what aisle an item was down and once again I get an I don’t know. DOESANYONEKNOWANYTHINGAROUNDHERE??? Their under staffed so there’s usually only a register or two open if your lucky. Lines are always long so if your in a hurry don’t expect to get in and out of this place.

This is a good, medium-sized exchange with a stripmall attached. It’s outside of base, over by the riverside gate.

This place is literally in the middle of nowhere now that BRAC opened up most of March ARB to the public. This place pretty much has all the basic essentials. I also enjoy the smell of BBQ that’s in the front every time I come to visit. This place isn’t open to the public and you need to have some kind of association with the military, whether you’re active, reserve, or veteran. No tax here too!

BRAC consolidation had an effect on this place. Lots of military facilities consolidated and the result is ghost town. This exchange looks run down from the outside but inside there are a lot of merchandise. Strange that they carry navy and air force uniforms but no army. Limited staff, make sure you know what you want and check out. Commissary next door and reserve center across the street on same road.
