Amplex installed the sound system at Miramare Restaurant in Venetian Village. It is an outdoor system and there aren’t many company’s that had the resources to handle that kind of installation. They are on the high end of the spectrum. Come by and listen to it.

TJ did a great job. Our computer was mailed to our home in Florida from out of state. It arrived broken. We did not know what was wrong. We went to a big box retailer and they said it was probably our«mother board». It would cost $ 100 to diagnose and It would cost $ 500 to try and fix with no guarantee. We were depressed with the news and started to research new laptops and tablets. We were looking at $ 700 to replace our t-519″ laptop with a 15.6″ t-3 laptop. We then turned to TJ who recommended a Samsung Galaxy 5 Tablet. We are delighted. He salvaged our hard drive from the broken computer and downloaded all our files, contacts, emails, pictures, and songs to our other computer. He then transferred all our contacts from our i-phone and hard drive to the new tablet. He Instructed us on its use and did this all in under 2.5 hours. The cost was very fair. TJ knows what he is doing! We will recommend him to anyone needing support with computers, tablets, phones, or TV systems.

TJ is knowledgeable, skilled and friendly, and I highly recommend Amplex to anyone who needs computer assistance/repair(and from what it sounds like from the other reviewers and casual conversation with TJ, home theater expertise too). I have a custom built PC that I shipped from Seattle to Naples when I moved, and the video output wasn’t working properly on arrival. I’m computer savvy enough to troubleshoot many software and hardware issues on my own, and I was also communicating via email with the guys who built my machine, but we couldn’t figure out anything more than«it’s either the video card or the mother board/PCI slot(s).» I do not have another motherboard and video card to test against. The parts are still under warranty, and I was hoping to find someone local who would agree to just look at the computer and run a simple diagnostic, to confirm what needed to be shipped off for exchange. TJ listened to my story yesterday and freely offered his time. He came by my house this morning to confirm that, yes, it is the video card AND the PCI slots that are to blame. He quickly detached my motherboard, while imparting invaluable advice on heat sink compound, and the delicacy of CPU’s. He then promised to come back on his own time once I got the new parts and put the beast back together again. TJ is a bright and interesting person, good at his job, passionate about it, and he arrived when he said he would too. He’s getting all my family’s technology business from now on. I’ll try to add an addendum to this review once he comes back and rebuilds my PC, but FSM knows when I’ll get the replacement parts; not every company is as prompt as Amplex.

These guys are really terrific ! They quickly found us a great Surround Sound receiver and Blu-Ray player — and installed them efficiently/flawlessly ! We will use them agains very soon!

I own an H/K AVR254 Receiver that had stopped working and was under an global extended warranty from a company in Canada. Due to the circumstances of my extended warranty, I needed an estimate of repair before the warranty company would approve repair or replace the unit. I went to 3 different repair shops and called about 15 different home theater companies looking for someone to help with the estimate/repair and not one of them would even look at my Receiver due to it being H/K. When I finally called Amplex and spoke with TJ, he immediately said he could help and also came by and picked up the unit from my house later that day. He sent the estimate days later and I was able to get approval from the Warranty company for repair. Once I gave him the go ahead, my unit was fixed and dropped off at my home within the week, they even stayed until it was hooked up in my home to verify that I didn’t have any issues once it was connected in my home. My Receiver is now up and running and working like it was brand new! I would recommend this company for any Home Theater needs, they are friendly and courteous and very helpful.
