Booked the 2 hour tour of Cape Romano and surroundings and had an amazing time! Our captain/​guide was Chris and not only is he incredibly knowledgeable on the area and wildlife, he was very attentive and made us feel very comfortable. My 7 year old learned a lot and asked every question known to man and Chris was very patient and took the time to answer each and every question. He was also kind enough to help our little one pick out a few shells when we stopped at one of the islands. Although it was just a couple hours, it felt like half the day. Perhaps because Chris never made it feel like we were on a schedule or rushed. The islands are beautiful! Lucked out and saw a lot of dolphins close by, manatee, turtles, and tons of different types of birds. My highlight was the abandoned domes… Pretty cool and surreal place. Superb time and well worth the price. Hoping to be back soon!

We rented 3 kayaks from these folks and they delivered them as requested to the Shell Island Road kayak launch. Chris and his team were very good to work with. I would highly recommend this service for future consideration. Thanks!

We usually rent Waverunners on Marco Island but my son and I are so glad we decided to rent kayaks instead. We had a great experience, they accommodated a change in plans without any hassle, and they met us early at the paddle board park on Isle of Capri. He was very friendly and helpful, the equipment was new and clean, and we had no trouble finding our way through the mangroves aided by his directions. We discovered several navigable tunnels, a highlight to be five feet from a white heron feeding on the baby crabs! Mullet jumping almost across our bow. Paddling 15 feet under an Osprey nest with chicks. A packed 3 hours, he arrived just as we were landing. Bring water and sunscreen.

Once again had the pleasure of using «Florida Adventures and Rentals». This time I went out for a full day charter fishing. Chris recommended fishing the backwater because the gulf was going to be choppy early in day and then settle down. He seemed to know all the «spots» because we were hooking fish left and right. Then we proceeded out into the gulf. he had said that, depending on the weather he’d either venture out to the 9 mile reef or go all the way to the farthest reef. We caught our limit going out just the 9 miles. Hog fish, Tarpon, snook, cobia, shark, king mackerel, grouper, etc. WHAT A DAY!!!

We found this to be a great service for renting kayaks. I researched kayak rentals when staying on Marco Island and I’m glad we decided to use these guys. It was easy to male a reservation over the phone, even though it was last– minute during peak season. (I think it’s a bit harder to find availability if you are looking for a guided group tour, though.) They texted me right away confirming that they would meet us at Isles of Capri Paddle Park at 9 the next morning with our 4 kayaks. The staffers were prompt, the equipment good and the prices very reasonable — $ 30 for a 3 hr kayak rental.
We decided you couldn’t find a better place to kayak, since the water was calm, there were very few motor boats, and the areas to explore were numerous. We didn’t see manatees, but we did paddle among a pair of dolphins for a while, and were able to get very close to some osprey nests. I would use this company again in a heartbeat. They were very professional and offered an awesome value.
