Mackle Park

Great park for young kids and older ones too, other reviews say it all. Love the dog area. Just a warning that there are no bathrooms available if the rec center is closed. That’s the ONLY downside to this park, otherwise it’s great!

Great park. Playground is perfect for all ages. Wonderful walking trail around and covered basketball courts.

Great place to go with a kid. On a warm day the splash pad is endless entertainment. The actual play ground has ample room for running around and hiding in the pirate ship. If you have kids… go there.

This is the GREATEST kids park ever! If you are bringing kids to Marco Island, you must take them here! It’s free, it’s immaculate, there’s a splash park (bring a suit for the littles!), two separate playscapes (one for younger and one for older kids), basketball courts, balls to check out for free, tetherball, etc. etc. etc. We stayed on Marco for a week and went nearly every day with our 22 month old son. Highly recommend this great park!!!

Huge park in Marco Island. They have a running/​walking track around a huge lake. They have a kids playground. Two dog parks (big & small dogs). An activity center. A dock on the lake where you can take a canoe or kayak out. This park is very well maintained and has it all.

One word — WOW! If you are visiting Marco Island and you have kids (any age), BRING THEM HERE. This is probably one of the most well-​done, well-​built, well-​thought-​out parks I’ve ever been to in my life, if not THE best.
— Basketball courts for the older kids — even one that’s completely under cover with bleachers and all.
— A big huge jungle jim area for the teens/​pre-​teens/​and toddlers.
— A splash zone area with water shooting up everywhere for the younger kids.
— An enormous soccer field to kick/​throw a ball or frisbee, fly a kite, etc.
— Two billiards tables inside, along with two ping-​pong tables, a foosball table, and a large gynmastics area for jumping around.
Clean bathrooms, great staff on site, and just a great time for people of all ages. You have to stop here if you have a hole in your day you want to fill.

If you have kids and are on Marco Island for any amount time, this place is a must. Huge pirate boat themed playground, mini basketball court for the younger kids, tether ball, splash pad, covered regulation size basketball courts, soccer fields, boccie and shuffleboard court. So much to do here, free of charge. There is also an inside rec center with ping pong and other table games (billiards, etc). A +!

This quaint park is great for little kids! First plus, it is open to the public and free of charge. It also has a small water play area for toddlers as well as a big playground area with an are for little ones and bigger kids. For the teens and adults it has a covered terrace basketball court as well as a walking trail with lots of grass area. Overall, it’s a great area to visit if you’re looking to venture outside of the hotel area with the family.
