Can’t say enough about Charlie. Great prices if you need to sell (More than eBay after fees and shipping by several percent!) and great prices if you are buying. He’s a generally amicable guy and treats his regulars with a lot of respect. I’m not a huge spender either, but he always lets me look through his stuff and since I visit every week, he knows what I like and always puts it aside to offer to me. I’ve gotten some great deals working with him, and I gotta say that he is, in my opinion, the best coin dealer around.

Charlie’s Beanies? Yes, they have lots of beanies, Webkinz, etc. And my kids love that. But this place is primarily a coin store, and I go there regularly to see what’s new. Charlie mainly focuses on US coins, so I’ve gotten great deals on foreign coins, with some spectacular cherry picks from his foreign «junk box.» But even on the US banknotes, I’ve never paid the posted price. He offers you a discount as soon as you express interest in anything, and he values his customers. Rare story: I wanted to buy about $ 25 worth of foreign silver recently (he sells it by weight & bullion value), and I didn’t have enough cash on hand. I told him I’d run over to the (no fee!!) ATMs, and he said I could just owe him. True, he certainly knows my face well by now, but that’s the kind of service that impresses me. A small selection, but I’m rating it high because I appreciate the way he runs his business.
