New China Buffet

Not the best, not the worst. Wish they had fried shrimp on the lunch menu but I was happy to see sesame balls and fresh bun selections.

The staff sucks. Unwelcoming, no smile, no hello, no nothing. They keep staring at you while you eat, and they always look at what you serve yourself from the buffet. very uncomfortable (they do it to everyone), perhaps is food control by intimidation… sometimes it feels as if they are about to go «kung Fu» on someone. Their prices have been on an upward roller coaster. Oh yes, and by the way. clean your blasted men’s restroom, please… there is piss everywhere on the floor, right next to the dessert station… really?

Worse buffet ever, am from Rhode Island and my brother brought me here to have the Chinese buffet experience in the sunny Florida, but all we got was bad food and monotone customer service… The Buffalo wings are dry, spare ribs are overcooked and most of the food is pretty boring… If you have the opportunity to come here, Dont! Go somewhere else.

The food was cold for buffet food and bland! Food looked like it had been out awhile. Needed to be turned. Spring rolls tasted ok,
The décor is horrible, they really could use and up grade.

Wish I had seen the reviews on Unilocal before going! The food was at best mediocre. Selection was bad. On the bright side it was cheap, but I guess you get what you pay for.
Restrooms are disgusting and one of the employees did not wash his hands after using the urinal! He went straight in to the kitchen!

I wish I checked Unilocal before I went! Go with your gut instinct, if it doesn’t look right, doesnt smell right, doesnt seem right!!! It isnt!!! Been so stomach sick!!! Do not eat there!!! The cost is too high! $$ and time off work! Aweful!!!

I never saw such a bunch of nasty and rude people in my life at any restaurant! I go to this place quite often but never again! I usually get there when the place opens at 11:00 so the first dish was very small just some fried rice to start off with. After that I decided to go to the restroom I was HORRIFIED by what I saw as I walked by the dessert bar there were two mice running along the edge of the dessert bar. I was so shaken up by this that I didn’t even want to go to the bathroom as i couldn’t get out of there fast enough and would have even pissed my pants to exit out ASAP! I told the employee what I witnessed and said I am not paying for a lunch buffet when I only had a little Fried Rice and did not want to eat there. Who knows what else I would have found? Of course they always play dumb like they don’t know what you are talking about! Out of consideration to what the customer saw and that was my prerogative to stay or not, they insisted that I had to pay and now I have a dispute with my Credit Card
over this so. The place even smells rancid, especially when I have the jello I could smell a weird smell when it’s under my nose at the table! So good luck eating here, NEVER AGAIN!!! You may want to try SANTOS near Pasquale’s Pizza on State Rd. 7 so clean, gorgeous interior absolutely stunning wonderful food and Sushi a little pricey but worth it!

Wow, real old, real bad and1.00 more then the good ones I go to in Deerfield Beach. There is a placard sign on my table which read «Take what you Eat. Eat What you Take. if you have extra food on your plate, you will be charged per lb for it».not classy at all. The sushi was not fresh like the ones I get at my other two places and the choices were not as varied and the same for the desert bar. When I paid, I gave the guy a 10.00 and he thought I did not want my change back. so I should give him a 2.00 tip for old food, an insulting sign and 1.00 more then the great places I go to. NOT A CHANCE!

The last time I ate here was years ago, and the quality of the food has sure changed since then. We were shopping in the plaza and my mom thought we should stop here for lunch, since they would have better options for a pescatarian like her than Applebee’s. I didn’t l like this place due to the lingering smell near the sushi bar, and the food looking and tasting bland. I will give two stars since the buffet for 3 was at a lower price than what it might be at Golden Corral. However, I’d rather pay more for better tasting food. Other Chinese buffets are better.

We are new to the area and have been looking for a good Chinese Buffet. This one was close and even though it had bad reviews, we said what the heck, lets try it.
I don’t know where these other people doing reviews ate, but this place was wonderful. The food was good, hot, good selection and the service was excellent. Also it was very clean and the buffet was kept filled and clean.
Will definitely go back over and over.

This a review about how one Chinese restaurant had me recreate the wedding gown scene from, «Bridesmaids».

Before I get into the aftermath, let’s chat about the restaurant. It’s located in a strip mall off of Atlantic. Immediately I knew this wasn’t going to end well both for my taste buds and my stomach, but I felt like well, I’m already here, let’s just see… bad move.
The food was meh at best. I will say the crab rangoon were really good. The buffets had all of this steam coming off of it, however, the food wasn’t really warm at all– odd.
The staff was seemingly nice. Always filling up my empty drink cup.
The bathroom looked like it had never been clean. The urinals still had urine in them and the toilets were clogged. Ironically, they had a sign that read, «a clean bathroom is important to us.»
As I left I thought to myself, «oh no.» You know what I mean when I say this. You’ve been there. That oh no means you better get your behind home because it’s about to get ugly. I got in my car, sped away and literally prayed the entire way home. My entire body filled with goosebumps. Chills ran through me as I sweat. I turned on the radio and sang along to «Goodbye Earl» by the Dixie Chicks as a way to pass the time. The catchy melodies did nothing for me. I just prayed and prayed and prayed until I made it home.
Fortunately I made this terrible mistake by eating here so you don’t have to. Do not eat here guy– trust me.

Well, it was my first time there and definitely my last. The food was nasty, dry, over cooked. Most of the food didnt look appetizing at all. The worst chinese buffet I have been to. Golden corral would have been a better choice!

Terrible place: Bland food. Limited selection — good thing there were not more tasteless items to choose from. I ate at many different Chinese buffets in New Jersey last year, and the food in NJ was much better. New China Buffet has far fewer selections than in NJ (NJ is my point of comparison). Service OK, but I came for the food. At least the Coca-​Cola I ordered tasted good.

It’s a good asian buffet, but arrive at least 2 hours before closing time. If you arrive later than that, chances are you are not getting fresh food anymore.
Servers are very nice and attentive to refilling your soda.
Good overall.

Worst Chinese food ever! dirty inside sushi not edible all of the food was dried out and horrible the only thing that was half way decent was the dessert even though they only vanilla ice cream they had was sugar free please stay away I will probably be in the bathroom soon puking and or diarrhea

Man if there was a star for .5 i would give this place a half a star. This place is NASTY!!! The worst chinese buffet in the United States… that’s right, not just broward, florida, margate, but the whole USA!
The food is bland and looks like they just opened up a can of Alpo and dumped it in there. The carpet is stinky and stained. The staff is worse than the food. The servers are pissed off if you order water or hot tea. Oh and you always have to look for them to fill your water up. I know they’re pissed at you because they think if you order water, than you’re cheap, and you won’t tip them.
This place used to be ok. Not sure what happened. But rest assured, i will NEVER go back into this dive ever again.
If you’re reading this, please take heed, do NOT go in there. There are so many more places to eat.

Everything lousy.
Was there on Sunday.
Everything slimy and filthy.
Staff stands in FILTHY dirty dish room texting on her phone.

Come back here once a week now and never find myself disappointed in the food. A very nice, cheap lunch spot with friendly staff.

This place is bad, really bad. I have very low expectation for Chinese buffets. Yet, this one really missed it.
First, it’s really depressing. The clientele was mostly elderly (there must be a 55+ community very nearby). The servers seem like they’d all rather be somewhere else. But, if the food were good, not of that would bother me.
But, the food wasn’t good. It your typical bad Chinese buffet dishes with their gloopy, under-​seasoned, over-​salted, sweet sauces. To make matter worse, none of the dishes were fresh — they had all spent at least an hour or two at the steam table.
I tried some sushi too. The rice was dry and the fish was really fishy — definitely not sushi-​grade fish.
Its one redeeming quality was the price. The lunch buffet was ridiculously low — around $ 8.

Tried this buffet for the first time during lunch time last week. I could not have been more disappointed. Wonton soup was warm not hot and really oily, the beef was too fatty and stringy to chew, the fried items were all breading little meat. Not a huge selection. I steered clear of the sushi as nothing there seemed fresh. The service was nothing special. I would never come back as there are much better Chinese buffets in the area.
