To start service was very poor. Ordered drinks took 15 minutes to get. Ordered side of marinara sauce for the rolls, never came out. Figured we would forget about it. Ordered Pizza, came out soggy and tasteless then we get tiny plates for our pizza. We asked the waitress that put them in front of us for the larger plates considering these plates wouldn’t be big enough for a pizza slice without folding it in half. She tells us that they had no larger clean plates and kept handing out the tiny plates… basically you will eat with these plates and like it!!! When we complained she told us that these were new owners and they have no restaurant experience. No problem, I don’t want to be a complainer but to top it off the slow service and poor food but then the whole reason we came here in the first place was because we had a coupon. When I showed the coupon, the owner comes over to say«sorry she wouldn’t accept the coupon» very loudly, loud enough so my table and the table next to us stops talking to hear what she is saying. She says that their food is cheap enough that she doesn’t feel that they need coupons too and that I would need to ask for my money back from I told her«but you would have been the one that put the coupon on there in the first place», she said she never did it. The people that tried to sell her the ad did it on their own and she would not honor. Like my husband said. «so she knew theres a coupon out there but doesn’t put a sign on the door to let you know before you rack up a bill?» Hopefully this old restaurant of Margate doesn’t go downhill with this new ownership.

I have been here 3 times and everyone’s food was excellent every time! You can’t beat early bird dinner that comes with soup, salad, entrée with side of pasta, garlic rolls, dessert and a beverage for $ 11.99! If you like fish, get the stuffed flounder. Outstanding, better than red lobster! I personally have tried the chicken Francese, stuffed shells and shrimp parm. My favorite was the shrimp parm, 3 huge pieces that were very tasty. Their garlic rolls are THEBEST, very addicting. They are crunchy on top and soft and garlicky. I’m also a fan of their house Italian salad dressing. The cannoli is good and they also have a house dessert as an alternate. The chocolate cake was so good. We had Karen as our server(the older one, there are 2 Karen’s) and she was great, so sweet funny and friendly. I will be asking for her for next time. We just ate here for Valentine’s Day and they have everyone beautiful roses as well. This will be our new Italian spot.

I have eaten here before, and it was much better. I ordered for delivery this time. The food wasn’t bad, just ok. My son and I shared a chicken parmesan dinner, and there was enough for 2 to share. My beef was that when I ordered, I wasn’t given a total of what my 2 dinners were going to cost. I ordered off the menu from online, and their prices have changed considerably. So I paid considerably more than I thought it would be. This didn’t make me very happy. Had I known it was going to be that much more, I probably would not have ordered at all.

The food was excellent. My girlfriend and I had a fantastic lunch. The service could have been better, but hey, no one is perfect. The calzone was very good as was the chicken piccata. I will say this as an up side. They have HUGE portions so you will more then likely have leftovers for a second meal. Overall a great place that I would certainly eat at again.

Love this restaurant! I’ve been eating yummy Italian food here for 30something years now, they have new staff that’s joined the team over the past few months but the former manager Joe was the best and newer manager John is super attentive too. Try the chicken parmigiana or clams and linguini, and make sure to visit them for early bird specials too. They include soup, salad, entrée and desert too. It’s definitely the Italian spot to visit if you are in Margate!!!

So glad Joe & Guliano are the owners again! Place is a Margate landmark. Looking forward to seeing them more often. Food is always great and customer service is just as great.

We love Zuccarelli’s. The best garlic rolls and minestrone soup! Service is usually quick and efficient.

Declined early bird seating after being seated at our tables five minutes to 7. EB ends at 7. We were excellent customers. With all of the wonderful reviews here(not) i guess they can afford to lose a customer that spent approximately 500 dollars this year. Nice job to the manager that was on duty sat night 12 – 13 who made that decision. Jeffb

I used to frequent Zuccarelli at least twice a month… for over 15 years. Recent changes in menu, value, food quality and service staff are convincing me that all good things come to an end. I still love the garlic rolls – probably the strongest garlic in town(there’s nothing like tasting it a half a dozen teeth brushings/mouthwash rinses later). Its too bad that the shitty server last night never even dropped some on our table – not to mention that I even went out of my way to order them. A lot of negative reviews also seem to bash the canned mushrooms which I find to be a much better choice than fresh. Why would you want something on your pizza that’s going to dry out and lose a necessary part of it’s taste and texture in the oven when the canned variety have a consistent texture the whole way through? 100% of other circumstances in life call for fresh mushrooms – except pizza. It’s unfortunate that Zuccarelli’s no longer offers dinner specials past 7 pm… the Veal and Eggplant Parm is really good. Don’t forget to bring your grandma, though… you’ll need her. If I ever have the desire to shove in with the crowd of old people complaining about how hot the soup is on an afternoon that I’m hungover and can’t tell how bad the service is, I might be back. Considering I preferred the dinners to the pizza, and dinner time in my household is after 7, I doubt it. Steer clear of the Calamari, too, and you won’t have to tear through a bowl of rubber bands.

I came to this place for years and the food was always good. In recent years both the food and the service has declined. Today I decided to give them one last shot. My water cup had a crack and proceeded to drip out and onto me. While we waited 40 minutes for our food to come out our waiter was nowhere to be found. When he did appear to bring out our food my calzone was burnt and my husband’s chicken parmesan had hair in it. We had to once again track down the waiter who took the food and disappeared without ever uttering an apology. We left after no staff offered any remorse or even appeared. I would give this restaurant zero stars if I could. Even if the food had not been burnt or didnt have hair in it I doubt it would have been appetizing. This place is disgusting please avoid.

Horrible pizza. Didn’t even have fresh mozzarella cheese and used canned mushrooms. If you make pizza make pizza the right way.

I’ve been going here for many years. I moved away for college, but my family orders from here every time I’m back in town. There’s not much to do in Margate, and pizza in SoFla is nothing compared to the stuff I get at college in Chicago, but this place has its own charms. I’m a vegan, and Zuccarelli’s is A-ok with that! They may not actually know what«vegan» means, but their crust is dairy and lard-free(unlike Margate’s other pizza joint, Annie’s, which has lard in the crust). They also have a huge selection of vegetables you can put on your pizza and tasty marinara sauce. My family always gets calzones and the linguini with white clam sauce, which they adore! The service isn’t perfect. There’s often a lot of kitchen staff standing around looking confused, and many times I’ve gone to pick up there is only one cashier and a good-sized line. Zuccarelli’s is surrounded by a wing place, a spanish diner, a Five Guys, and a grocery store. It is frequented by the city’s large senior citizen populated and me, vegan pizza lover.

The food was good. Their fresh sauce and pasta made me give it a 3 star. Shrimp Parmesan hit most of the right notes. I wished the herbs were a little more prominent in the dishes but overall it’s not the worse Italian food I had. If you come please do not expect superb customer service. The waiters and waitresses are very forgetful. Very forgetful on the smallest simplest things. If you have patience(like I do) it’s a good place to stop and eat if you need take out or just somewhere extremely laid back and kid friendly. Otherwise dont come here for a date or a special occasion.

Just ok. Went in for lunch.2 slices and a soda for $ 4.95. First reaction was that they used canned mushrooms(look all dark and glossy). Tasted it, and it was tasty. But as I ate i noticed how doughy the crust was, and I really like super thin NY style. Was it fine, yes. Was it great, no. Good enough.
