Cowboy Steve Handyman

Possibly the most dishonest person I’ve ever met in my opinion. The other reviewer said he thought he smelled beer? Cowboy Steve was openly drinking beer while working on my garage. I feel sorry for the woman working with him. She does 90% of the work.
I hired him to insulate and drywall my garage. The contract stated R19 for the wall insulation. Steve showed up with R13. When Steve wasn’t around, one of the people working for him pointed that out to me saying she did not want me to get ripped off. After that day, I never saw that honest worker again.
What should have been maybe two or three weeks worth of work turned into two months and was never finished. It seemed as though the only time he would show up was to beg for money.
Rarely did they show up before 10 or 11 am and they usually left by 3pm.
This is just a small sample of the nonsense I had to out up with with this clown and he never finished wait he was paid to do!

What a disaster. I had to hire someone to come in and fix his «work». I actually thought I smelled beer but I have no way to be sure. He has this woman partner/​cohort who is just a flake as far as my experience goes. She promises to be over to work for almost a week in advance and then cancels with virtually no notice, even though it may cost you money.
I personally will run the other way if I hear Cowboy Steve and crew are on the job.
